Target wii tracker??

For the past 2 weeks it seems that the backdoor tracker for Target is showing out of stock for all my local Targes. Is this correct or are they not scanning in the wii's into inventory anymore? Or they haven't gotten any shipments from Nintendo? Usually Targets get a shipment in once a week but it's been dry recently. Anyone been able to get a Wii Target with the tracker showing out of stock within the past 2 weeks? Any input would helpful.

I have been wondering the exact same thing. Has Target somehow cut off their live Wii inventory, from the amount of harrassing people were doing of it showing in stock?

All Wii's are completely red, and there were previously a few locations with a stuck "Limited Availability" possibly because of stolen or lost Wii's.

have not seen any on the backdoor...or in the doors of target for that matter. Everything else on the trackers for Target are correct....maybe another blitz is coming soon.

So for your zip code it actually was showing green (avaliable) as of saturday night and then switch to red (out of stock) on Sunday? Were you able to get one? What's your zip code? It's been red for my area for the past 2 weeks though using the wiihunt.com and the crazy link.

ya, but im in a suburb of chicago. i actually got mine from amazon, i just look at the 'tracker' to feel your pain!

Target tracker here seems to show green then go red on sundays also...Im located about 2 hours south west of chicago.

Never tried to pick one up at Target though, as I have better luck with my local Super WalMart wich seems to get about 10 in every other week on Fridays wich just happens to be my payday week and our grocerie week.

People at Walmart probably wondering what Im doing with 20+ Wiis....LOL

I actually thought it was funny last Friday cuz I met a guy from Indiana off Craigs List that bought one of my Wii's for $325 outside of a Walmart in Morris IL...If he would of went inside first they had 4 sitting in the case for 249.99...LOL

It's right. My local Targets have had none for almost 3 weeks now. Actually Wal Mart hasn't had them in almost 2 also. Bestbuy - I give up on them. TRU just had them Sunday.

Another way to gauge the availibility of Wiis, check Ebay. Monitor the numbers of Systems. Right now , there are right around 1000. Prices are back up to $320 - $375. Most of the country must be dry.

Ok, go easy on me b/c I am new to the Wii hunt since my husband suddenly started dropping major hints that he wants one and his 30th birthday is coming up soon!

So the Target tracker has shown limited availability since yesterday for one of the Targets near me (the rest say sold out). How accurate have you guys found this to be? I called the store (don't know if this goes against SD rules, but like I said I am new to this hunt) and they told me they don't have any.
Has anyone had success going to the store and having them check inventory? Do you have a DPCI that I could give them to check?

Chances are 1 of 2 things: 1: Stock error, they don't have it. 2: return item.
If you want to chance the return item, check at the customer service desk to see if the item is in stock there. Use the DPCI # and scan the back shelves/bins for it. VERY low probability of success. Even then, it's a return....do you want the risk on that?

Unfortunately the least amount of legwork is thru eBay.

FYI, I got mine thru Costco a month ago. Extremely limited stock. I had to search on "Wii" at their website and keep refreshing the results a couple times a day for a week. They sell them in bundles (extra wiimote & nunchuk +2 games) but you'll need the controllers anyway and you can return the games.

I am now searching for one for my brother-in-law. It's been pretty dry the last couple weeks in the Bay Area, CA. Our local TRU had 60 this past Sunday (advertised in paper) but sold out in less than an hour. I got there 1/2hr too late...

My suggestion is to pick up a Sunday paper and look to see who is advertising a Wii, then get there an hour before the store opens. A couple Sundays ago it was Circuit City.

Sounds like you're in the Bay Area. Target is overdue, but they also took down their endcap display, which is shocking in itself. Fearing a really dry spell coming up with WM and GS pushing through over the past week.

I just got one from the Target in Ridgedale, MN. The backdoor tracker showed Available this evening so I called and the guy said they still have a couple left. He said they got 25 in this afternoon. There were two left after I got mine. Thanks!!!

A trick at target to check if they have them is to go to the price checker, and instead of scanning anything type in the SKU #: 207 25 0001

then press enter, it will tell you how many are in stock on the floor and how many are in the back stockroom...or if there are none anywhere which is most likely the case, happy hunting!

West Suburbs of Chicago had a ton come in today. 5 targets near oswego, IL got shipments (3 listed as available, 2 listed as limited). The target I went to this morning had 3 come in yesterday and 24 today. 3 people in line at 8AM to pick up 1 each.

I got one! 2 Targets near me were showing Available today so I got up early and headed out but decided to call on my way in and was told by both that they were sold out (even though one still shows Limited Availability hrmph). So I decided to go check another Target that was close to my work (yes, I work on Saturday's :vomit: )
I walked in, went to Guest Services with my DPCI said can you please tell me if you have any of these in stock, she checked it and said it says we have 15 in aisle G16!! I tried not to run back to electronics, but when I got there, there were none in aisle G16, so I asked the nice guy in electronics about it and he said well let me check in the stock room. I heard him talk to someone on his little walkie talkie about it but then he brought out a box of 3 of them! I only bought one for my husband and even used my $10 off $100 coupon!! Woohoo!
He did put the other 2 out, but that was it. I wonder if the 15 they got were supposed to go out tomorrow? Anyways, this store did not show any available online before I left (but it is now!), so I was so excited that I stopped in anyways! It's the Mayfield, OH one if anyone is near by!
My quest is over and I didn't have to stand in a line! :)

Target is doing a release this coming Sunday. It's in their ad for 4/29 and most of the stores are holding to their inventory til then. So I think after Target's release it could be dry for another month or so.

The web tracker shows green, but if i type in the SKU it shows none on shelves or in the stockroom.
