No NY here but the Santa Ana Bristol location which is also a 24 hr location has SCO. SCO shuts down @ 10P

Agoura Hills, CA has two. Had a little problem, so shift supervisor (VERY nice - short, hispanic, during the day) had to assist. She said the one nearest the door (that I was at) gives them the most problems.

Also, if you have a work ID on a lanyard, she showed me a very neat trick to make the coupon bin work better. When you put your coupon in, and it's waiting for your coupon to go down, take your ID on a lanyard and use it to push the coupon down. Of course, your probably want to make sure your ID is securely attached to the lanyard so it doesn't end up at the bottom of the coupon bin!

Very nice store - big, clean, bright. Great make-up area with lots of samples. Older, grey haired/bearded gentleman was not very coupon friendly, as I had bought just a couple of snack items my first time in, and used an ecb to pay. He acted like I was stealing from them for only having to pay about 20 cents on a $3+ total. And it was an ECB that was simply a return on my money! :eek:

Imagine what he would have thought if he checked me out with all my coupons!:lol:

The Sunset one in cali - it's true! yesterday, i went, & the security guard was like hovering over me the whole time i checked out. But he was nice! he even helped me bag my stuff up while BF was watching! :lmao: when i finished scanning everything, he asked me "no qs today?" :lol: (i haven't been to CVS since last week, but it was another security guard. i don't know what he thinks of me now since yesterday my total was 0.39 after so many qs! hahahahahaha

I went to long beach the other day, since BF lives near there, & i enter SEVEN stores. NONE HAD SELF-CHECKOUT!! I don't know which one i went to, but we were going on one street (straight the whole time) & hit 7 CVSes :omg:

There is two SCO at the CVS in Downtown Evanston. It's on Sherman Street.

Also, does anyone know if it's actually easy to use self-printed coupons at the SCOs, such as the $4 off $20 or $5 off $15? In my limited experience with SCOs at grocery stores, you always had to get manager approval for every damned coupon.

Wow I cant wait to have SCO in PA, hopefully soon looks like big cities (states) first. There aren't any by me. Imagine no snotty cashiers to deal with, no 30 minute or more checkout times, sounds great.

There's only one store in Agoura: 5623 Kanan Road, Agoura, CA 91301 - (818) 991-5522

There is a SCO at the CVS located in Kennedy Plaza in Downtown in Providence, RI. Its located at the checkout at the back entrance.

Has anyone had a problem with after scanning the coupon and not being able to get the machine to recognize that you have dropped the coupon into the coupon slot. I kept on fishing it out and re-shoving it in until the scanner recognized the coupon and if I took too long, it just voided the coupon. Just wondering if anyone else was having problems. Oh as an FYI, this is not recommended as the employee who was helping me did this and cut his finger on something and bled a little. I was lucky since my fingers are small that I did not get cut.

Despite a few unfriendly cashiers, this is my favorite CVS because they're 24 hours! As of last Sunday 10/5, both SCOs still had up signs that said closed. They're probably still working some kinks out on them.

Btw, I just noticed this week that many of the NYC locations SCOs don't allow transactions w/out coupon approval by an employee. The manager at the Chelsea location ruined my transaction! Instead of a mm, I ended up paying over $5. And the location on 32nd and 5th Ave., has two big signs on them warning customers that all q's need approval.
