additional information about this magazine, thanks SlickDealio
Just to let people know. This magazine has changed from what it used to be in the past. It used to a pop-culture/entertainment type magazine focusing on movies, video games, and music reviews. Similar to Blender in my opinion.
As of August '06 it changed to being more of a Hip-Hop/Rap/R&B type magazine. Similar to Vibe (http://www.vibe.com/).
See the Wikipedia post at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giant_magazine and the magazine's website (http://www.giantmag.com/) and see if its something you'd be interested in.
Anyway, just letting people know since they have changed the content of the magazine.
Also, if you want a free digital subscription you can go to http://www.giantmag.com/subscribe/

Is this magazine dead? I can't get it to show up for me.
It sucks because when this was first posted, I was signing up for it and my computer froze so I'm not sure if it went through. :(
I tried my usual: education, education, school/library, educator, educator thing and that didn't work even though it went through the first time.
I tried the education, legal, legal, attorney thing and it didn't work.
Any suggestions?

Not dead. Just tried it now w/ another profile I use for sending my Mom magazines and it offered the magazine sub.
Your sign-up probably went through the first time you did it. FBM will usually not offer the magazine sub if you have already signed up for it through them in the past. Check your e-mail to see if it went through the first time. They usually send a confirmation e-mail after you sign-up. If it didn't go through then you can try creating a new account. Just use a different e-mail address and then it'll probably offer it.
I really don't think the job thing matters all that much. I seem to change that info all the time and seem to always get offered the mags. Only times I'm not offered mags is when the offer expires or I've signed for that same mag in the past.
Anyway I did the education, education, school/library, educator, educator like you did and it worked for me.

Thanks!
Okay, lets say hypothetically, I signed up for this magazine four times with four different email addresses but all the other information was the same (address, etc). Would I get four of the same magazines mailed to me, or would I have four years of the magazine?
Thanks,
Ian
