CVS has Gillette Fusion Razors (Razors, not blades) on sale for $4.99 after Extra Bucks Reward. This includes all Fusion razors - Fusion, Fusion Power, and Phantom Power.
If you add the $2.00 coupon in the P&G ad insert in Sunday newspapers, it's comes out to only $2.99.
Only one Extra Bucks Reward per card number...
I just picked up a new Phantom...
As StrTrkker said, you can use this coupon (http://www.cvs.com/CVSApp/cvs/gateway/promotion?pid=6051&step_nbr=160), to take $2 off a $10 purchase and with a small filler, basically get the razor for $0.99! :)
Got the coupon from this forum (http://forums.slickdeals.net/showthread.php?threadid=631003).

If you use the $2/10 CVS coupon as well then your total comes out to only .99c.
Great deal for sure...:)

They always make the handle cheap, but the blades will make you poor. But it's a good deal if you need a handle/want the new fancy color.
One tip: the blades actually last a lot longer than you think. They don't need to be replaced every two weeks. They should last at least 10 shaves, it not a lot more. And I know a lot of guys only shave every other day, so one cartridge can easily last a month with proper care (i.e. shake the water off the razor after each shave and store in the given holder).

You must like a chewed up face if you use a razor blade for a month! I shave my head every other day and I can only get about 3-4 shaves out of a blade before it starts to chew me up!

For shaving your whole head and face, that's at least double or triple the surface area. You should still be able to get more than 3 to 4. The reason for this is that the biggest increases in friction happen after the first couple of shaves (you're wearing down the excess Teflon coating, unless you're using the Power blades). So yes, my advice might not apply to you, but for most men, it certainly does.
(And yes, I do know a thing or two about this seeing as I used to work at Gillette :) )

(And yes, I do know a thing or two about this seeing as I used to work at Gillette :) )Whoa. Do you know whether the Mach 3 originally had Teflon on the blades and then they got rid of it when they came out with the Mach 3 Turbo, to upsell people on the turbos?
And why have my last couple packs of Mach 3 Turbos been a lot crummier than I remember them being? I might have bought them at a discount grocery store -- is there a chance they're counterfeits? My neck is getting razor burn all the time now.

I'm actually not sure of the difference between the 3 vs. turbo. Check the patents.
Counterfeit blades could certainly be a possibility. Here's a blog entry (http://www.chaddickerson.com/blog/2006/10/08/counterfeit-mach3-cartridges-and-the-war-on-terror-and-boy-my-face-hurts/) I had seen about them. I know there's a consumer line to call if you suspect you have counterfeit blades. They will investigate and let you know (and then probably go after the counterfeits). Gillette is extremely seriously about IP.
Personally, I know sometimes I have issues with razor burn and I know I have genuine product. Our skin is a finicky thing. Shave gel, after shave, temperature of the water, etc. all can affect the shave. If it doesn't go away, schedule an appointment with the dermatologist.

I get an easy 15 -20 shaves from each blade and my beard is pretty nasty. I have to go 25-30 shaves before it gets uncomfortable.
Even Gillette claims that the Mach 3 averages 13 shaves, and I doubt that they're erroring on the high side. Changing after 5-10 shaves is insane.
Here's a good (http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html?res=9500E2D6153FF937A15757C0A96E9582 60&sec=&spon=&pagewanted=print), if dated, NY Times reference

When you buy the handle, doesn't usually come with one blade? If so, getting a bunch of these for 99¢ each would be less than half what a cartridge usually costs.
Can anyone confirm if this comes with one blade?

It does come with one blade. But there is a limit of 1 ECB per card.

On Sundays most newspapers have huge number of flyers and inserts e.g., Philadelphia Inquirer Sunday edition. Proctor and Gamble have large number of products and so they typically include a bunch of coupons for many of the products in the Sunday papers

The regular Fusion comes w/ two blades (one already in and an extra). The Power doesn't have the extra. The way CVS has had deals the past year, you can regularly get Fusion's or another high end razor for free or very close to. I haven't bought a pack of blades alone for a long time - that is where you get ripped off. But it is limit one this week - but you know, your dog and infant and spouse all could use cards too I bet!!!
I Just Got A 16pak Of The Gillette Fusion Pak Off Ebay Cost Was 21.99 + 4 Bucks For Shipping. This Would Be My First Time To Buy Just The Blades Off Ebay But The Seller Had A Lot Of Feedback! Hope For The Best Shave And No Fakes.
25.99/16 = 1.62 A Blade. Divide That By The 5 + 1 Blades On The Thing And Thats Really .27c A Blade!
Try To Get That At The Store I Dare You!

Fellow Headshaver!! Don't use razors for your head. The best place in the world for us is http://www.headblade.com/
you can usually find the headblades at your local pharmacy, CVS, Walgreens, and though it sounds crazy, when you use it, you will never go back. Perfect smooth shave, no burn, nice and shiny. You'll end up getting the glossy lotion. I cannot stress enough how this product has changed my headshaving. Hey, if it works for the UFC and Chuck Lidell it's good enough for me! :) :)
