Reposting this here because some of the coupons match up! :whee:
We got in a new booklet that has coupons - it looks almost like the old Heartbeat Booklets (expired 6/30/08), but is called "Managing and Preventing Diabetes". It's the same size and color as the Heartbeat Booklets (approx 5x8" - light blue with white and red writing), and will probably be found in the Pharmacy.
There are "Over $160 in money-saving coupons", all expire 1/31/08

Coupons.com has Soyjoy coupons. I was able to print 2 of each--$1 off 1 and $2 off 5. Looks like a money maker! There were also coupons in the paper for B2G1, but I don't remember when it was from.
Hoping the monthly ad is big! I've got some big ecbs to roll!

Theres been a few soy joy coupons in the All You mag, just don't know which months, but I'm sure someone else does:nod:
Oh and for the Soft Soap BW, the CVS's with the beauty counter have $1 off soft soap bw coupons, pair that with a MFC and it could be cheap. I know soft soap used to come out with $2 coupons, but lately they've only been $1.

Hiss. boo hiss. I thought this week was bad, this one is the worst of the month! Please tell me November will be better!
I guess none of you like SoyJoy. You can trade with ih8cats for candy corn. That way none of you will end up :vomit:.
We could always bring back THIS week (10-14 to 10-20) instead... :rolleye2:
Trust me, nothing is WORSE than this week (10-14 to 10-20). I mean 2 items on page 1 where they are advertising the regular price and you don't even need a card? :ranting:
And a 3rd item (Charmin Toilet Paper) where you would be a fool to buy it you undertood the 4 pack is giving away $1 ECB and is SALE PRICED to $2.99 for all stores. :)
The only reason why this week (10-14 to 10-20) looks "decent" is because you are using the monthly deals to make up for the fact the week of 10-14 to 10-20 is really lousy.
Any week with free product with coupons matching up to make it a moneymaker is a fairly good week. :)
I counted 26 total ECB deals shown in the ad for 10-28 to 11-3 (I have not yet deducted for the monthly deals CVS is recycling in the weekly ad).
That is compared to only 12 unique ECB weekly deals this week.

SoyJoy were in the Sept All You magazine.
Also, if you don't like the taste of these, consider giving them away. I always keep some in my car, and there's even a homeless woman who LOVES them. See her sometimes and give her a few - makes her toothless smile get bigger than ever.
I personally like them, although I stayed away from them for the first month after I bought them. Tried one and have eaten them ever since. :yummy:

Question for you all...do any of you lurk on other coupon sites? I was being curious and looked at HCW tonight and low and behold..they have this ad I posted..about 3 hours after I posted it. I don't mind if they did get it from here..but I kinda made me mad when I read the person's post about not sharing it with other sites.. IF they did get it from here, then WTH? I don't mind sharing, but it peves me that they obviously do. What does it matter as long as we all are couponing together?? (PS I like this site a lot better anyhow!!!)

If you PM one of the moderators over there they WILL remove the ad. They do not like unauthorized sharing, in either direction, and don't allow users to post other people's work without permission. They're pretty cool that way...

Love these bars! :yummy:
Key to eating them is to have them with something to drink - water, tea, etc. A drink in between bites takes away that dry feeling. JMO!
Note, there are many coupons available for these - online printables and in the All You magazines. Check the wiki.

I'd be interested too. Usually we're missing an ecb deal, but prices are generally lower that the ads I see here. I'm in the Chicago area.

Some people have been sent denial letters from these glucose monitors if their oop is low (using ecbs). I've seen it reported that when they call they are still denied even tho the ecb program is explained to them by the slick dealer. I myself have not tried to call on a rebate I was denied on because I was getting it for free after ecbs or free after a coupon. Even though I really need to burn my bucks I'm not willing to try and do it with a $30 rebate that i might or might not get on something that I have absolutely no use for at all.

Seem thing happened to me. Some people are getting rebate by block out all coupons and total. You can try to get rebate that way if you get the monitor for free, but I personally would not recommend using the rebate as a way to convert ECBs to cash. It is too risky.

I've gotten back to monitor rebates (Ascensia and Ultra 2) in the last two weeks and I blacked out big coupons and my whole thing at the bottom with Subtotal, total, etc. It looks like you are just blacking out credit card info, and a few products that you wouldn't want someone else to read like condoms or motion lotion.
Can you confirm that the GC for transferred rx is not a regional deal? The Coupon should read only in ____,___, and ____ states if it is.Just the typical "not valid in NY & NJ" stuff.

How many is "so many"? Just curious because I may use this tactic to turn a pretty significant amount of ECB into cash.

First, it sounds like your coupon is for the Breeze, not the Breeze2.
Second, it is very unlikely (the ethics of this put aside) but remotely possible that they may take $30 off a $9.99 item.
Third, and I have been guilty of this as well (but try to do better now), but it would probably be wrong (no judgements here) counterproductive to keep hacking away at the goose that lays the golden eggs.

No, they will adjust the coupon to the price of the item ($9.99).

OK, read that in your first post, you also said you have a $30 coupon for the Breeze, not Breeze2, unless that was a typo.:)
Good luck with that coupon, if it's for the wrong thing and you expect $20 of overage on it, which the manager will have to approve, since it will beep.
Even if it's for the right one, it will still beep, and the manager will still have to approve it (scan their card).
Getting to be a lengthy discussion now, will move to the discussion thread here (http://forums.slickdeals.net/showthread.php?sduid=168336&t=630738), if necessary for further clarification.
Answer to previous question is in discussion thread.

as mentioned it will be changed to 9.99, unless u buy 3, itll b changed to 29.97. before the system was changed u could give ur card after they scanned the coupon, and it would work, i dont think this will work now because the receipt shows the "saved" part.

Per the rebate form: One rebate offer per Ascensia Contour System purchased.
I don't know if the Breeze/Breeze2 have the same wording or not on the rebate form.

Hmm, so I probably shouldn't count on this method to turn about $600 worth of ECB into cash then? 3 < 20...by a lot.

I have been buying many monitors and have yet to send in a rebate. I would like to do it now but am somewhat confused. Are you saying here that you did black out the big coupons and the subtotal, total at the bottom, etc. and you did receive the rebate that way? It seems that if the company is being picky about not accepting our explanations of EBs etc and how that works that they wouldn't accept a receipt with black marks obviously all over it covering up information. Has anyone actually had this work and if so which ones accept it? Maybe its just certain companies that are rejecting these SD rebates. TIA

I can confirm that blacking out the stuff works. I did 3 Ultra 2 rebates, and received all 3 of them (1 in my name, 1 in my wife's name, and 1 in my daughter's name). I blacked out all of the coupons and the total, and of course info like credit card last 4 or whatever, etc.

Yes to all questions. My thoughts are that the person handling the rebate either
a) doesn't get paid enough to do serious investigations and follows the rules to the letter
b) assumes that those black outs are products that i don't want others to see that I bought, and/or my credit card info at the bottom of the reciept.

Worked for me w/ Accu-Chek and Contour (in the good old days when the register receipt would print w/ the monitor at full price if the card was scanned after). Blacked out everything, got a $50 rebate and a $40 rebate :) I also did it 2 more times w/ the Accu-Chek and got a $9.99 rebate both of those times. No problem.

There is a $50 off Nova Max coupon in the diabetes booklet.
I am really new at all this so I am nt sure what the wording on the back means, here it is
"...No discounts apply..." Is this just standard wording? I hope :) Because I am thinking this makes it a really nice deal.

You mean you are able to receive same rebtes multiple times, and dont need to use different name/address?
Are these rebates on the SAME products, or different products but with same purchaser name/address?
TIA for clarification.

Many of the monitors allow multiple rebates on the same products, same person. Just send one at a time with the receipt. One of them (maybe Accu-check?) specified 2 rebates a year. In any case, the rules of engagement are clearly stated inside the box. Makes sense if you think about it. My friend with diabetes has a monitor at work, purse, home, etc.

I'm willing to bet they don't. The time they did generate the ecb, no size was specified in the ad. Then this month, there was a specific size and they did not.
At least we've got monitors and BP meds to generate some hefty ecb. And I've got 3 of the Diabetes books already, so that's $60 of pure ecb profit!

It seems like I have seen them around here but when I looked in them there were no coupons. Maybe they have coupons now???????
I'm headed out in a bit, so I will check and see if I can find some but you would have to have them sent express mail to get them in time most likely cuz tomorrow is already Friday!

So even if no ecbs, I'll be ahead by $4.01 on the deal, if I can find them. I saw a pack today, but will be out of town, so will have to hope for the store nearby to have these.
I know I've seen an upcoming cvs deal for nicorette but I can't figure out which week/month it is. Someone asked about doing the nicorette deal on this thread but I don't see the deal. Am I missing it?
Week of 10/28 (the one we're discussing!)

does anyone have a good supply of the diabetes books at their cvs? I am willing to pay for fast postage to get one before sunday! :( i checked mine today and she hasn't even heard of them
I'm with you. But are they the big (maybe 8 x 10) folders? I know mine didn't previously have Qs....and I haven't seen them recently!!!

Yeah, I was thinking about that, too (I got the CRT today). I have the $10 Q from inside the packages from before, so I might try....but we'll see.

SOYJOY BARS 4/$4 get $4 ECB (limit 1) FREE SOYJOY!
hmmm this is a money maker!
4 soy joy bars x $1.00 = $4.00 - 2 BOGO coupons = $2.00 - $4 ECB = Negative $2... works for me...
now to dig out all my CVS cards! LOL

Thanks for the Qs, Miranda--will hit you up once I spread some love around :)
Good luck finding them, they were on a product withdrawal two weeks ago, both the 2mg as well as the 4mg. But larger stores may still have them in their planogram.

The Diabetes books aren't supposed to be out until October 28th, for the start of Diabetes Month. They could easily be sitting in the back somewhere buried in the middle of all the Christmas stuff that came in. I grabbed one when it first came in, then lost track of the box. Oops. I doubt it ever made it to the pharmacy, so I'll have to try and find it. Wish I could remember what the outside of the box said!

Thanks Kim! Maybe there is still hope they will show up at my store.
Has anyone got back rebate for the recent FAR Ascensia Contour? I mailed out on 10/7, nothing came yet. Is it like a regular rebate, 8-10 wks waiting period? Or w/n 2-3 wks?
Yes to all questions. My thoughts are that the person handling the rebate either
a) doesn't get paid enough to do serious investigations and follows the rules to the letter
b) assumes that those black outs are products that i don't want others to see that I bought, and/or my credit card info at the bottom of the reciept.

I've been denied on rebates from them before so I wasn't about to try it again. I've gotten all the rebates I sent in for other manufacturers (Accucheck, Ultra II) but it was denied on Contour more than once for me (I did get at least one from them, but being denied a couple times made me say...... forget buying for rebates on the Contour. Now if it's free with extra care bucks then that's another story.

Ok, I saw these at one store last night, but there were only about 10 out and when I picked up one - and started to pick up more - the pharmacy tech came over and started looking at me with one of those 'eyes', so I left them there. Can't get back to that store until early next week, what do you want to bet they'll all be gone by the time I get back?
I was thinking maybe I could get by after the pharmacy closes, but the box of them was on the pharmacy counter, so I guess it will be behind the locked curtain. I'll keep watching for these.

LOL, I'm picturing schnauzermomma dressed in black, sneaking ninja-like over to the stack of books, ducking behind displays as she makes her way over.
I think they're only putting out a few at a time so people don't horde them. My brother is bolder than I am. When the pharmicist asked me how many I wanted, I said 2. He said 5. I'm going again today and hoping the display is out. If not and I have to ask, I'm saying I'm my sister!

They have these booklets out on a display. I've been snagging a few every time I go. I was actually shocked to see them out last weekend. If anyone needs any, let me know. I know how it is not having CVS coupons when YOU KNOW they are out there and your store "doesn't" have them.

CRT came recently, after I had bought some of the Nicorette before. So once again, a CRT is tied to something I bought previously.

Booklets look exactly like the blue & white ones they had earlier this spring. I am not even sure what I did with mine after I got them yesterday, hm....
I looked yesterday, and found them on a bottom shelf next to the Nature Made vitamins. Not sure about all stores, but they caught my attention.

For those who haven't found the diabetes books yet, not all stores have gotten them in! They're a promo for next week. In my area, the only place that had them was the store that got a Wed shipment. They ones with Thu/Fri didn't have them. Also, the store that did said they weren't supposed to put the display out till Sunday. So if you haven't found the books, hang tight and they're bound to show up eventually. Since the Nova Max looks to be a monthly promo, no hurry.

There is a $.99 Colgate toothpaste or toothbrush manufacturer's q on the front of the 10/26-11/1 Shaws/Star Market circular. It expires 11/1, has a barcode and reads "redeemable at Food, Drug, Discount and other Stores accepting coupons." Two toothbrushes at $.99 = $1.98 and give $2 ECBs back!

I added the following to the wiki:
$2 Be Fine (in-store)
$2.50 Renu printable
$1 Schick razors manf.
Nestle Crunch Crisp BOGO printable
$2 L'Oreal Natural Match printable
$1 L'Oreal Vive printable
$3 Robitussin printable
Clorox manf. q's from last week's wiki
$2 ECBs Go Duster
Did not add to wiki, but FYI:
*There is also a $5 rebate peelie for a box of 50 or more Pepcid AC. The wiki only includes 25-30 ct. boxes as giving ECBs, so I will have to investigate this in-store next week.
*If your CVS store accepts competitors' coupons, there is a $1 off Carefree printable at www.riteaid.com. You have to sign-up for their coupons; there are about 3 pages that print out.

For those that can find them, the diabetes books have a $50 coupon for Nova Max Glucose Monitors. 29.99 w/ $20 ECB Limit 5. Each coupon should make the monitor free (don't expect to make money on the deal), so that's an easy $100 in ECB's. (Just don't do them all at once - a $100 ECB is next to impossible to roll over

You can only use one of those coupons per transaction anyway, if they are like all the coupons in the old heartbeat booklet. They say "one per customer" I believe.

you will make $20 ECB's on each one. What I meant was don't expect to make money on the purchase since the item costs $30 and the coupon is for $50 (they won't give you a $50 credit for the coupon; they will adjust the coupon value to 29.99 to the price of the item).

1 - Nova Max Blood Glucose Monitoring System @ 29.99
2 - Tylenol @ $ 8.69
1 - Robitussin @ $ 4.99
4 – SoyJoy @ $ 1.00
Total: $ 56.36
- $ 10.00 10/50
- $ 29.99 Nova Max Coupon
- $ 10.00 Tylenol
- $ 3.00 Robitussin
- $ 2.00 Soyjoy
OOP $ 1.37 give or take a few pennies
Get Back ECB’s
$ 20.00 Nova Max
$ 10.00 Tylenol
$ 4.00 SoyJoy
**This deal/scenario is only good for 1 day ...Saturday 10/27... Tylenol will not produce ECB's
