Hi,
I know there is a seperate CVS thread, but I thought that this was a pretty good deal.
This week (well whole month) at CVS, you can buy Crest PRO-Health night for 3.29 and get 3.29 ECB (limit 2), but there is also a coupon for buy one get one free in the P & G. Plus, like 2 weeks back there were also $1.00 off coupons for the crest. Plus, I found some mail in rebates on the shelf at my local CVS, for a rebate up to 3.99 for crest pro-health night. Valid from sept 10 2007 and must be postmarked by march 31.2008.
Anyways I bought:
2 crests @ 3.29 each
- 1.00 manufactuer coupon
- 1.00 manufactuer coupon
- 3.29 buy one get one (YMMV using all these coupons, i had extra items to avoid confusion with the register)
I paid 1.38 OOP
and also got 6.58 ECB plus i can do the mail in rebate for 3.29
Sorry about the repost for the Beano. I have deleted the info. now

The jokes in this thread will be endless.

FYI Crest Pro Health turns your teeth brown. Google it if you don't believe me.

I'm a dental hygienist and I see teeth all day. I have never seen or heard of a Crest pro-health user with brown stained teeth. To my knowledge the only product that stains teeth brown in chlorhexidine mouth rinse, Rx only. My only beef with Pro-Health is when people who don't really need its anti-tartar, anti-gingivitis, etc. features use it, especially kids and teens. Waaaay too many chemicals when chemicals aren't needed. But for a person who builds up tartar (we call it calculus) it works pretty well, not in preventing the build up but it is easier to scrape off the teeth (easier on my hands).

Well, that's my two cents anyway...

So, let me get this straight:
You get 3 free Crests, 5 free Beanos, and make over $13 profit after coupons, ECBs, and MIRs, and this gets a thumbs down?

OP: The reason I said 3 Crests is that any CVS I know of will only let you use one $1 coupon and the BOGO coupon on 2 toothpastes. If you want to use a 2nd $1 coupon, you'd have to get a 3rd toothpaste. You wouldn't get ECBs for it, but the TMF MIR would make that one a money-maker. Thanks for posting!

And "Google it if you don't believe me"? That's a pretty low standard for fact-finding.

Yes that is why I said YMMV, I only purchased 2 toothpastes and I used all three coupo

You should do some more research on the Crest Pro-Health Rinse. The main ingredient, CPC, is known to stain teeth. Many RDH's and dentists have reported WORSE staining from this product than from CHX. Do a google search on it. Or go to the Listers group at AmyRDH.com and you will find a lot of stories from hygienists regarding terrible, terrible stains that have been produced by the Crest rinse. Or visit dentaltown.com and go to the message boards there.

Believe me, I've seen it first hand, and the staining from Crest Pro-Health Rinse is much harder to remove than CHX. It's some of the worst staining I've ever seen.
