I found lot of Tide,Gain and Boost on clearance. It is 50% off. It seems they are getting new stuff from the manufacturers and so they are clearing the ones they have in store.

I found this in CVS store located on Hwy31/Loarna Road in Hoover/Birmingham, AL.

The CSR said it is nationwide but the timing may vary from store to store. :)

Tide was 25% off at Baymeadows, Jacksonville, FL CVS. No Boost. Do anyone of you have better deal at CVS?

They don't have this in my CVS but they have marked the CVS brand fabric softener to 50%, making it $1.75 for a gallon size. Great timing as I was on my last of the trial sizes from the last clearance :)

is it all tide or a specific type. i checked out cvs and didn't seem like anything is outrageously low priced. is it on the detergent aisle or clearance?

I found this to be the case. Clearance is usually tagged on the shelf with the regular merchandise. Seasonal merchandise is the exception.

I was told they received the new concentrate one and all the regular ones are 50% off and then 75% off in next week, YMMV though.

so the price on the tag is what you're paying or do they take it out at the counter?

I went to the same CVS as speddi and the price was on the products already. The Tide was 3.99 and the Cheer was 3.25. CVS brand and Xtra detergent were between 1.75 and 2.25 - Ensure was 3.99 a 6pk. There were still a few pks of Boost as well - 4.99 I think.
I stopped by 2 more area CVS and they acted like I was crazy when I asked about the clearance (one store had none at all!). They scanned some of the detergent for me and even though it was on an aisle by itself (at least 3 aisles over from the other det.) at one store, it was still full price. Yesterday at Morgan Road CVS I did find Conair Platinum brushes and REvlon Silver for 90% off! I wound up with $48 worth of merch for 7.62 The same brushes were only 50 & 75 off at the Lorna Rd store and still full price at Hueytown store.

Clearance varies from store to store. I found Pringles mini 5 packs for 75% off at one store. The same item is $2.50 at all the many stores in the area. Another store has blow dryers; brush sets; piggy banks at 50% a few weeks ago. I have not seen the same clearance since.

A tip for the smaller stores, look up. We found numerous school supplies; when we were done, we had 6 large CVS bags for a total of $6.20. These stores do not have room to separate clearance. The store is forced to place it on the top shelf.

The detergent won't be on clearance here in Mass. A few are BOGO this week.

Check the CVS by me and the "older versions" were moved to an endcap and scanned the regualar price .. not 50% off.......it appears the old versions are being replaced by the
2X strength version

Keep in mind that the 2X rollout is only in the south for now. Check the tide website. It will roll out further north over the next 6 months.

I missed this deal tonight by five minutes. Employee said they sold out within 10 minutes of being placed on the center aisle. BTW she personally had a basket full behind the counter. The Tide was $1.99, All & Purex 1.37, Arm & Hammer $1.67 (liquid jugs).
