before I loose it and my mind too! For those who cannot find the Diabetes book here is a link to sign up for a free Nova Max~

http://voucher.novacares.com/register.cfm

Step 1: Please complete the following information below and click the Submit button.

Step 2: A new window will open with your voucher for a FREE Nova Max Blood Glucose Monitoring system. (Make sure to deactivate any pop-up blockers, as this offer requires a pop-up window).

Step 3: Print the voucher and take both your new prescription for the Nova Max Blood Glucose Monitoring system and this voucher to your pharmacist. Don't forget, you may also ask your physician to call your prescription in and pick it up there.

Also the pics at HCW of the flyer are pretty poor so I will type the ad as best I can.

Now with Fruit H2O being b1g1 free you get the H2O free theres a coupon I saw on ebay for getting FREE 100 Calorie .... Theres only one auction for this and it would be really nice now if CVS gave money offs and you'd be up a lil under 10 bucks.

I found these coupons in my Giant Eagle near the 100 calorie packs. The coupon is Buy 2 Crystal Light Ready to Drink or Fruit2O with a very tiny asterisk that says they must be 4 or 6 packs and get 1 100 Calorie Pack for free. Very confusing coupon if you ask me.
But good info on the Bogo and the Diabetes coupon!

Also, the 100 calorie packs are 2/$5 and there is a $1 off coupon in the Diabetes book and $1 off mfr's which I found right by the free 100 calorie pack coupons.

The Discussion/Questions/Scenarious thread for this week is HERE (http://forums.slickdeals.net/showthread.php?sduid=59052&t=645144).

There are two CVS threads for each weekly ad. So, how do you know what to put where?
- Anything that everyone needs to know should go in the Ad/Deals thread (prices, coupons, what worked that shouldn't have, what didn't work that should have). The Wiki post (always the 2nd post in a thread) is updated constantly by users just like you!

- Ask yourself: "Does someone who is checking this thread via dialup before going to CVS really need to know this information?" If not, put it in the Discussion thread!

- Other stuff like questions, scenarios, what you plan to buy, what you bought, how great the deals are, how bad the deals are, chat where you're getting to know other SD CVS'ers etc, should all go in the discussion thread for each week.

Keeping track of all the CVS threads:
Subscribe to the threads you want to keep track of. (See links below)

To subscribe to a thread when you're already in the thread:
- go to the top of the page
- click on Thread Tools on the upper right hand side
- click Subscribe to this thread

To see the threads you've subscribed to, click "User CP". It's at the top of every page on the left. Any of your subscribed threads that have new posts will show in the center of the page. You can also click “View all subscribed threads” to see all threads, whether they have new posts or not.

(You can also 'sticky' every CVS thread to the top (also under Thread Tools), so if you go into Hot Deals or Deal Talk or Coupons you see all CVS threads at the top of the page.)

NEW: Too many pages in your CVS threads?
You can change your settings to show more posts per page, with the maximum being 40 posts per page. (This lets you scroll down more without having to keep hitting 'next page')

Go to “User CP”
Click on “Edit Options”
Scroll down until you see "Use this option to set the number of posts to show in a thread before splitting the display into multiple pages."
You'll see a drop down box where you can select the Number of Posts to Show Per Page.
If you make a change be sure to scroll down to the bottom and click on “Save Changes”

We still don't have the full ad for Sunday? Hello, where are the insiders??? We're slacking behind HCW!

OK, we now have a full ad!! A whole bunch of typing for a fairly crappy week..., but at least it's done.

Thanks a lot, sadharley!
I got started on the big coupon list but I don't have time to finish right now, so if anyone adds to the Wiki please post it in the thread too so I don't accidentally delete it. Thanks.

That's weird. Taylortown's master list of coupons has Goodys Cool Orange coupon (50c) in SS 10/14. I couldn't find it there. Maybe regional??

$2 WYB 2 bags of Dove or M&M candy 2/$5
The Dove candy is close to free if you have the BOGO coupon. I have two of those, I do not know where I get them, but they were not from news paper insert.so check your coupon collection.

Ozarka, Poland Spring, and Arrowhead water are all the same -- the company has different names for them depending on what region you are in -- so this makes the offer good nationwide.

Kind of like the former May Department Stores would have different names for each region. (i.e. Robinson's May in the west -- Kaufmann's in the east.)

However, IMHO, you may want to think twice about buying that water -- it all depends on how steamed you are at this company for screwing everyone out of the Juicy Juice deal.

Here is the different names of water from this "evil" company:

Of course if you can forgive and look the other way. :)

Nova looks to be a monthly deal - limit 5

I have a question about the Nova deal if it turns out to be monthly....Wouldn't the deal still be a money maker if the $50.00 coupon along with a $10/50 were used after it goes back to regular price of $59.99? Don't jump on me, I never post, just read the CVS threads religiously and I'm just curious as to getting around the whole "can't use the coupon while the monitor is on sale" thing.

Somehow, I have a feeling that while the Nova is giving ecbs, it will be on sale, so you can't use the coupon. JMO

Oh, and the back of this coupon says something like 'not good with any other discounts', so a manager pointed out to me today. LOL

The ECB deals this week are pretty bad but there are a lot of good sales if you work around it. I used the Contour for $30 to get my total to $50 or $75. I bought ink which is not a bad price at $3 off. Combined with the 1.49 Goody free this week and some johnson's buddy free with coupons. When you think of it,you are actually taking 15 off the ink price because everything else is free.

The Clinical Degree is priced at 9.99and there is a $2 manu coupon if you really need something to rollover. The Halloween pencils are clearancing at 13 cents each so I throw those in. You can use the 2/10 to make it almost free so you can break even. Or combine it with the Goody for 1.49 free.

Or you can combine the Contour with the Ameal to really make this a money maker.
Ameal 29.99 - $3 manu
Contour 30 - $30 (adjusted from $50)
Add in the free Goody powder 1.49
4 johnson's buddies .99 each===$3.96
Clinical Degree 9.99 - $2 manu coupon

-15/75
-2/10
-$30 Contour
-$3.96 Johnsons buddies
-$3 Ameal
-$2 Clinical Degree

Pay about 21.47 with ECB get back $36.48. That is a profit of $15.01. Not as much as the Nova but not bad. Some of you might want to throw in some more coupons.

It didn't beep at this store but it beeped at the other store.
But the store that it does beep, the manager usually rings me up and just pulls out her key and takes care of it. I think the expired coupons are accepted for as long as the register takes it. I have never had any objections to it.

BTW, someone posted the Contour as a money maker in an independent thread. So when we see there is none left we know why. They are promoting the rebate angle. I have never done a rebate on the machines because they have been free and I donate them so I don't want to open them.

That should depend on the store. It doesn't beep at most of the stores I go to, but it does beep at one of them. So it probably doesn't need to be avoided if it didn't beep before it expired. It will say that it "exceeds value," if it beeps (I think), so it's possible that even if it beeps someone will put it through.

Ameal BP is a supplement that helps maintain healthy blood pressure. It should be in the vitamin aisle of your CVS. The Goody $1.49ECB offer isn't in everyone's CVS ad.

Look in the CVS coupon thread. There are a bunch of coupons that expired on 10/28 that will work for 2 weeks after the expiration date. It's YMMV if the store takes it or not.

I'm going to work on cleaning up the Wiki and adding more coupons if I find any. Later I will do the Best Deals post. So, if you add anything to the Wiki from now on, please post that info in this thread or PM me. That way I won't update the Wiki and exclude your additions and I will also be able to include them in the Best Deals post.

Thanks

The Rebate is for $50.00 with Purchase inside the package -- however, it has a fine print saying "Rebate amount not to exceed purchase price."

Also, I think this company has also been known to turn down rebates if you try to use the manufacturer's coupon or any other coupon for this product.

i have gotten this rebate 3 times, all on orders where I paid $2 or less. The first time, on the old system, the monitor rang up at full price b/c my card was scanned at the end. That receipt I CUT right after where it said "card number" so no coupons/savings/final total was listed. Got a $50 check. The second and third time, I bought 2 monitors on the same day for $9.99 each (rang up as $9.99). Crossed off my coupons & total on both receipts, sent them in one envelope. Got 2 separate checks to the same address for $9.99. So I, at least, have had good luck as long as I didn't let them see my total. Others may have had different experiences.

this coupon is not so good as you think. first, it's over $20 so needs the manager to override, and very likely the manager won't let you combine it with the $50 CVS coupon. second, it requires the cashier to write down the serial # on the coupon, therefore, if you're doing the rebate, more likely to be turned down.

I actually got a crt for $3 off passport photo - and my passport is due for renewal, so this worked out good for me. When i got the crt though, i was kind of insulted, like maybe cvs was trying to get rid of me by encouraging me to leave the country?

there are also coupons in the child identity kits on the photo counters (at least around here) with coupons for a couple dollars of an 8 x 10 sheet. you could combine the passport photos with the child identity kits, since it's for a whole 8 x 10 sheet and you will not need that many pics for the identity kit (no, I am definitely not recommending using these unless you plan to do the identity kit for your child)

If you get the Diabetes booklet that is found free in CVS pharmacy, you could do better getting the Nova Max monitor which costs 29.99 (free if you use the coupon in the booklet). You will get $20 in Extra Bucks to spend on whatever you want next time.
