Was just at my local CVS. They have the Muscle Milk Ready to Drink 4 packs on sale for $5.99 which is a great deal. Also make sure you get some rainchecks so that you can buy them later.
I've been to 3 CVS's about bought out their stock. But most stores are only keeping 4 packs on the shelves. However some have more in the back so ask for more. Anyone who takes this protein knows its one of the best tasting ones out there as well as some of the best quality stuff.
Hurry the sales ends today!
Here is a link for reference, remember its B&M Muscle Milk (http://www.cvs.com/CVSApp/cvs/gateway/search?ActiveCat=499&Query=muscle+milk)

Better be careful.. Not to crap on the deal or anything, but this stuff has been shown to contain cancer causing agents. The makers of Muscle Milk even ackowledged this, even though according to them it "has enough beneficial ingredients to cancel out the bad."
Just a warning.

Ummm, care to provide a link (other then T-nation)? I know exactly what you think you're talking about and you got it all wrong on soo many levels. Better do your research next time buddy rather then just go off one smear forum/website that has it's own agenda for bad-mouthing cytosport.

I agree with the previous two posters disagreeing with your post. If you're a bodybuilder and you're not taking in good fats, then you're going to have a hard time growing. You do know that most of your body's hormones are synthesized using fats, right?
Also, if you happen to be a bodybuilder who is using the good ol' Vitamin S supplements, you really, really need the EFAs that are in Muscle Milk. I've got a buddy who has an HDL level of 5. Yes, 5. His doctor said if he didn't raise his HDL levels significantly, he'd be dead in 15 years. FYI, he's 26 now.
So fat is not only important for growth, but also important for your overall health.
By the way, repped and heading to CVS!

Yeah this isnt stuff you want to replace your powders with. Basically You are paying you are paying for convenience. However, these RTD's taste SO MUCH BETTER than the powders. I bought my poweder based on these RTD's and was pretty upset when they werent the same. RTD's taste awesome really. If you are used to the Muscle Milk powder and havent tried this, you MUST try it.

This is a good deal, but Vitamin World *regularly* has this price or lower. They also have the light versions too (which is what I drink). It's usually about 160 calories per 20g protein, and tastes tolerable (as opposed like pure shiot with other protein powders/shakes).

to the females who are drinking this...if you miss out on this deal...just call me up, ill provide some muscle milk for you...vanilla flavored of course ;)
With jokes aside, I heard many good things about this product from my friends who works out alot. They said that it taste great and helps them bulk up and gives them extra energy before/after a work out. I would really like to try some of these, but I wanna get back into shape (start working out) first before i take any type of body building supplements.

This isn't true. Most are synthesized using amino acids(epinephrine) and peptide chains (GH, insulin).
However, those hormones that are most widely known for building muscle (steroids) are produced using lipids and phospholipids. Testosterone is a great example. Generally the sex hormones fall under this category.
sidenote: i'm hesitant to say this because MANY hormones regulate the body's functions and are essential in terms of athletic performance and just maintaining homeostasis.
Your point still stands, just wanted to add to your knowledge. As far as fats go, those of us that are knowledgeable will be fighting this anit-fat war for a long, long time. After the anti-fat campaign of the 90's and the trans fat scare of today, it's going to take a long time to eliminate myths about fats.

Not to crack on your statement, but a word to the wise: don't confuse MM with protein supplements, muscle milk is designed to add or replace nutritional elements in order to do body crafting. Make sure you research what you take before doing so. This product has and will work in far different ways than a simple protein supplement.
For most, it's a weight gainer. I managed to put on about 12 lbs in 2 months using it. Protein alone would not have done that.

For all those "quoting" the saturated fat content, and are worried to death over it... the light versions have less then 2g of sat. fats, the regulars have about 5 or 7 grams of sat. fats depending on which flavor you choose. You have to realize though the these sat .fats are 80% MCT's which many believe are beneficial because it's burned as energy and not typically stored. It's NOT the same as the sat. fats in your table butter, or candy bars, or cookies, or whatever.

You really couldn't be more wrong with that statement... your body NEEDS saturated fats to survive. To say they are "never good" is ignorant on soo many levels.

I use Muscle Milk, but I'm knowledgeable enough to know that a lot of their claims are absolute crap. This COMBINATION argument you make sounds like you read it right off of the container.
Do you care to explain to us how the COMBINATION of types of fat works to our advantage and negates the fact that this thing has a fair amount of saturated fat? Please use language other than that found on the MM jug.

Here's something I posted above that might help explain it a bit better...

Some more info, not on the label...
MCTs require less enzymes and bile acids for digestion and IS NOT easily stored by the human body as fat. These fats DO NOT contribute to obesity or elevated cholesterol levels, unlike other forms of saturated fats found in junk food and whatnot. There's tons of info out there about MCT's, just waiting to be googled. Hope that helps everyone to better understand the benefits of these fats.

MCT's are easily digested inly in that theyre short chain, so they can be absorbed straight from your SI into your bloodstream. an 8-10Carbon chain MT will net you 5*12+4*3+4*2-2=78molecules of ATP, twice as much as a 6 carbon sugar molecule.
It is definitely high in energy, and anything excess will be stored by your fat tissue or liver. Your body will just use the MCT's and add carbons 2 at a time (as long as there is energy excess) and form a regular 16C fat molecule. Try not to let this happen, try to exercise and balance things out.
