Please post CVS cash-register, home-mailer, and in-store coupons here. Be sure to include the expiration dates and sources. Posting in the format I use will make it so much easier for me to just copy and paste to the proper week's ad. An example of such is:

PLEASE DO NOT POST IN THE WIKI; INSTEAD MAKE A POST WITH YOUR COUPONS. I WON'T READ THE WIKI AND WILL MISS THE NEW ADDITIONS. THE PURPOSE OF THIS THREAD IS FOR ME TO BE ABLE TO PUT THESE COUPONS INTO THE DATABASE AND FOR ANYONE WHO WANTS TO UPDATE THE AD WIKIS.

Well shoot, I just finished posting all the coupons in the Wiki. :( Wouldn't that be easier to see if someone already posted a coupon? Anyway, coupons in the thread are entered up to here.

ETA - Okay. I see you deleted it. And all of the new coupons I added to it which aren't in the thread.I copied all those from the Wiki and pasted them into my database. And no it won't be easier to check the Wiki, because what I will be doing is either not checking often enough (and missing some) or checking too often (and wasting time). Plus, I will be reading over the same coupons, trying to find which ones are new. This way I just copy and paste the new additions into my database. When I match the coupons to the ads I use the search feature and weed out the duplicates.

I just like to know those so I have some idea if they're still valid and also know when to delete them from my database.

I check when I see there's a new post. When I finally remembered to check the Wiki I saw that there were a lot that were never posted in the body of the thread (so I'd missed them). I don't know the answer on how best to do this (especially with next to no sleep :lol: ), and am open to suggestions, but my purpose is to have a complete listing of all these coupons without having to run myself ragged trying to keep up with them.

can you c&p your database list into the Wiki and make a heading that says something like "Please dont post new CRTS. Q's etc in Wiki, post them in the thread, they will be added to database and posted back onto the Wiki" but in simplier words. :lol:

Its just easier to look at the Wiki rather then have read through the thread escpecially once the thread gets several pages long.

If thats not an option, what about letting everyone else update and use the Wiki and just ignore it. On top we can have a header that everyone who adds a Q/CRT to the Wiki also add it to the thread, so that way you can keep the database updated.

Does that make sense? Its just that sometimes I use coupons and or CRT's that have nothing to do with what is on sale that week. Thanks to the headsup on the Nutripal's CRT I knew to have my card scanned before I shopped last week and the CRT printed, I had the manu $2.00 Q with me and made my kids happy with some Smores bars. It was the perfect filler for my list last week. But if I had not known that CRT was printing I would not have had it in my list (I knew I would get the CRT since I buy these all the time) I hope I'm making sense as to why a list would be good.

ps~I def dont want you to loose sleep or run ragged!

The one I got is only for $3 off. :mad:

Here's what I do:

I copy and paste into my file. I make sure the format is correct. Then I add them to my block of like coupons, so that when there's a sale I can just copy and paste that entire block. Here's an example of my block/cluster of Breeze 2/Contour coupons. When there's a sale I copy and paste the entire thing (complete with color and link codes) then just delete the things that don't apply. This week the Breeze 2 isn't on sale (just the Contour is), so I deleted the Breeze 2 MIR when I posted it in the Wiki. It makes it so much easier doing each week's ads, but I'm still working on putting together the blocks.

can you c&p your database list into the Wiki and make a heading that says something like "Please dont post new CRTS. Q's etc in Wiki, post them in the thread, they will be added to database and posted back onto the Wiki" but in simplier words. :lol:

Its just easier to look at the Wiki rather then have read through the thread escpecially once the thread gets several pages long.

If thats not an option, what about letting everyone else update and use the Wiki and just ignore it. On top we can have a header that everyone who adds a Q/CRT to the Wiki also add it to the thread, so that way you can keep the database updated.

Does that make sense? Its just that sometimes I use coupons and or CRT's that have nothing to do with what is on sale that week. Thanks to the headsup on the Nutripal's CRT I knew to have my card scanned before I shopped last week and the CRT printed, I had the manu $2.00 Q with me and made my kids happy with some Smores bars. It was the perfect filler for my list last week. But if I had not known that CRT was printing I would not have had it in my list (I knew I would get the CRT since I buy these all the time) I hope I'm making sense as to why a list would be good.

All the CRT's I get expire exactly two weeks from the issue date (not ECB--they are good for a month). I am, therefore, assuming that CRT's are good for two weeks from the date they print out, and the expiration date would vary depending on exactly when they print on anyone's account... So we could all be getting the same coupon with many different expiration dates depending on when we shopped last.

I got three of these cards today. Every single one was on accts that get NO $/$$ coupons. One of them was an acct that I recently added and there is no way I've bought that much on that acct. They can say these coupons are for their best customers if they want, but I know these accts are NOT the ones I buy most of my stuff on.......... by far and come Dec. 1st, I'm going to use all the ecbs on them and retire them.

Do your three coupons each have a different bar code? I suspect that's the case since it implicitly states it's for one-time use. Well, if it wasn't because of high OOP, don't know why I got a coupon then...maybe they just like me.

I have no idea why i get coupons but I have been getting ALOT of mailers lately and if these are like the others I have gotten recently ($5/$15 American Greetings, $4/$20 beauty, $4/$20 anything, $3 on Kraft, etc), these three won't be the last I get for this type. I'll probably get more on another day.

I think it's just another marketing gimick. I'll bet I can't use a $/$$ coupon with it. So what? I'll just get stuff that isn't normally "on sale" or give back ecbs. I need to retire accounts anyway. I only wish I could do this once a month with a different account each time. This is gonna be a LOT of ecbs to spend on one day and not get any back.

Just got back and got tons and tons of ECB for the free stuff, but not one CRT on my account. DH's card gave a $10 off $50 again. His card generates those all the time even tho it is rarely used. Mine used to, but that stopped awhile ago. No product coupons on either card as well. It has been reported by a few people that they also received no cpns for specific products this week--probably because of all the three-day sale deals.

Yes, expired crt do beep, but nice cashiers would push them thru. Others would just tell you that it is expired. So it is YMMV.

At the register, but you don't always get crt's when you first start using your card but you do get ecb's. I think that's what you were referring to.

Edit..unless there's a self scanner at your store, the newest stores do have them and you can scan your card to get crts.

I do the kisses a lot, too - got tons of bags of them - but on my receipt it say I've only bought 6 Hershey Bars (it's been keeping a tally all fall, for the calendar promo, I assume). Ran in my mind that you need 10 bars of the right type to get the calendar, right? Or am I wrong?

If you look where the face creams are then you will see the BeFine line of creams. The seem pretty expensive, like $20 for a small tube. Never used it so don't know if this stuff is any good or not.

I think it depends on how the raincheck is written up. If they write it as price 2.49 free after ECB , they would probably just give it you free. Some stores let you pay the value and then give ECB as a money card.

After no luck on the Novamax meters when the promotion was on I finally just got a raincheck for it. At one store where I found one novamax, the manager refused to give the ECB as money card, said he would just give the product for free. I went to the store where the raincheck was issued, found 2 there and I had a choice - since the novas were on sale then for 29.99 with ECB 20 and my raincheck was marked as such, I could either pay 9.99, use my $50 coupon that would be marked down to $9.99 and get the product free without any ECB or pay the regular price $59.99, use my $50 coupon, pay $9.99 OOP and get $20 money card. I opted to do the latter since I was still getting $10 free money. HTH

as someone who works for this company... you CAN use expired coupons. in my store, we don't even blink an eye - it's just entered in as a store coupon. i'm in PA, and i'm basing this on my experience... but nationwide i'm sure, if you ask, i'm betting that 99.9% of the time, you won't encounter a problem.

My store does not take expired mfg Q - I tried to use one a day after expiration (by mistake) and it beeped. After scrutinizing the product and the coupon, the cashier noted, "ah - it's expired. That's why it won't go through." I'm in PA. I double-checked with the Shift Supervisor and she said they don't accept expired anything, except EB, because you earn them. And even that is subject to change in Jan at my store.

I think someone had mentioned that the CRTs work no matter if you get the exact product. Is this so, all the way around, or is it store-specific? For instance, if I get that $5 Dove Revitalizer CRT and don't even get a Dove or even beauty product, would it go through if the cashier blindly scans everything through?

The system will accept the CRT, but it is the cashier who becomes the 'policing officer' on the transaction. Officially, I think it is correct that CVS expects you to have $20 in diet/nutrition products before using the CRT, but they didn't program their system that way.

Generally speaking, when I have one like this, I try to have enough diet/nutrition items in my basket that the cashier never thinks to stop and add up the amounts of each item I bought to see if I bought enough to use the CRT. Since I buy Boost and Soy Joys there, though, it doesn't really matter to me.

The problem comes when you hand over a CRT that is for something you didn't buy and the cashier notices it - even if only by happenstance. You just need to know how you'll respond.

There was a link to an offer from Dove that was in Spanish. You probably signed up for it there. It was in addition to the regular form on their site, so it's an extra deal. Just be glad you got it!

I have done 8 trips to CVS in two weeks and the only CRT I got was a $5/$20 on my second (and smallest #items) trip.

I've also made about 10 trips to the store in the past 3 weeks and all I got was one 5/20. I keep getting other CRTs though..Some of my transactions were small ones using 5/15 and some were about $40 plus..

Not getting any more CRTs except EB. But my unanswered question - I did use both 4/20 Diet/Nutrition Q in one transaction. I had more than 20 but less than 40. But I have bought plenty more products since then so I would have used them another time anyway.
Any crt will work even if you didn't buy the product listed on it. So that is why you can use both $4 off $20 Diet/nutrition crts together.

BTW, the Lumene stuff is not a good deal. Both old and new coupons have the same code (different expiration date). I can't use more than 1 coupon for 2 (even it is b1 g1 50% off).

The only crt I got today was another $10 off $50.

The only ?? off ?? crts I have been getting is $10 off $50. I want some smaller dollar figures ones like 4 off 20 or even 5 off 30.:lol: It is a lot easier to come up with a $20 shopping list than the $50.

How long have you been using this card? It can take a few months for CRT's to show.

Only two weeks -before that it was only once or twice a year (i've had card 6 years).

Thanks for reassuring me, I thought it was just me. I can't wait for the CRT's to kick in!!

In this situation, sometimes it is the cashiers that wouldn't allow you to use both.

What exactly is the 16.61? Is that how much I have in ECB to spend? How do I spend it? I had $20+ on my fall spending but it expired since I didn't know about it or what to do with it. Can you tell I am pitifully new to the CVS game? Sorry! Thanks for the help!

Your fall spending did not expire yet. You will - probably on your next shopping trip - receive an EB printout for $4, I think - reflecting 2% back on your $20 spending total, right, guys? Printable starting Jan 1. I think I only get $2 because I think I spent very little OOP this fall.

2% of $100 is $2...so my guess is CVS will simply issue a courtesy CRT along with with receipt for anything smaller than $50 OOP...like the one I got yesterday for $2.5/20 CVS purchase since my fall OOP was only $5.

EB round up. I think. I think my total was about $65 so 2% would have been 1.30, rounded up. I'm not sure. I'll be going Friday so we'll see.

And Wilky, my receipts say EB START printing beginning Jan 1.

And I see, as of Dec 31, I've spent $5.28 already for the winter quarter!

Yes, expired CRTs beep. In even the most coupon friendly of times at my stores, I have not been able to use expired CRTs.

I got 2 of the 4/20 diet nutrition on same receipt but cashier said I couldn't use both on the same transaction even if the numbers are different. I think its YMMV. If the cashier accepts it, it will go through, but them accepting it is the problem.

They've been doing this the better part of the past year, but not sure how they decide who gets them. Of course, you have to have all info, including your birthdate, registered with your ExtraCare card info. You can do this online at CVS.com

Tonight I made an unplanned trip to cvs after I recalled that I had a $6 ecb expiring today. So I got 2 cvs toothbrushes for $2.99 each (and got back $5.98 ecb) and a 75% off 13oz mug. I was very surprised to see the crts:
2 $4 off $20 Diet/Nutrition purchase crts
$2.5 off $10 Life Fitness Purchase
$3 off any Life Fitness Purchase

I felt like the register went crazy.

This is so nice to stack with teh LIfeFitness promos they have going on! Good for you!

on two separate orders

i haven't recevied ANY CRTs on on my receipts for at least my last 6-7 transactions (this year's)....i get my ECBs....but that's it!!! (i've been to 3 different stores)
