I did a search and could not find this, so here goes. I am a very lousy at typing, so please forgive the shortness of it all. I will post photos when they upload.
This is Black Friday week but I could not see anything special about it.
I must tell my evil deed! I swiped this add out of a box when a b!tch of a manager was not looking! It felt so good to kind of get back at her for all the stupid crap she makes up every time I check out! :muahaha:
I put this in the Hot deals forum but someone moved it. so I will put it here

The Delsym for children is the ONLY thing that helps my DD stop coughing enough to sleep when she has a cold. It's JUST the cough medicine, no decongestant of antihistamine or anything. It works GREAT and their new grape flavor is the only thing I don't have to fight her to take! If it's not on sale, it's around 8-10 bucks. Walgreens has them 2/15 and a $5 RR back this week. Might snag the $2 q's and use them at Walgreens instead!

DH also loves the adult version. It's just like Robitussin DM, only a higher concentration of DM (dextromethorphan). I'd seen something on the news that said to get cough relief, you need about twice as much dm as what's normally in medicine. That's why Delsym works so well.
The Ad/Deals thread for this week is HERE (http://forums.slickdeals.net/showthread.php?sduid=59052&t=644208).
There are two CVS threads for each weekly ad. So, how do you know what to put where?
- Anything that everyone needs to know should go in the Ad/Deals thread (prices, coupons, what worked that shouldn't have, what didn't work that should have). The Wiki post (always the 2nd post in a thread) is updated constantly by users just like you!
- Ask yourself: "Does someone who is checking this thread via dialup before going to CVS really need to know this information?" If not, put it in the Discussion thread!
- Other stuff like questions, scenarios, what you plan to buy, what you bought, how great the deals are, how bad the deals are, chat where you're getting to know other SD CVS'ers etc, should all go in the discussion thread for each week.
Keeping track of all the CVS threads:
Subscribe to the threads you want to keep track of. (See links below)
To subscribe to a thread when you're already in the thread:
- go to the top of the page
- click on Thread Tools on the upper right hand side
- click Subscribe to this thread
To see the threads you've subscribed to, click "User CP". It's at the top of every page on the left. Any of your subscribed threads that have new posts will show in the center of the page. You can also click “View all subscribed threads” to see all threads, whether they have new posts or not.
(You can also 'sticky' every CVS thread to the top (also under Thread Tools), so if you go into Hot Deals or Deal Talk or Coupons you see all CVS threads at the top of the page.)
NEW: Too many pages in your CVS threads?
You can change your settings to show more posts per page, with the maximum being 40 posts per page. (This lets you scroll down more without having to keep hitting 'next page')
Go to “User CP”
Click on “Edit Options”
Scroll down until you see "Use this option to set the number of posts to show in a thread before splitting the display into multiple pages."
You'll see a drop down box where you can select the Number of Posts to Show Per Page.
If you make a change be sure to scroll down to the bottom and click on “Save Changes”

This is the discussion thread for the 11-18 to 11-24 ads.
As you can see from previous weeks -- there are always 2 threads for each week at CVS.
One with the actual ECB deals and the wiki (created by slick_chicky)
The second is for the discussion of the week itself.

You did the right thing -- we just didn't realize the thread had dropped off so quickly and was hard to find.
KimD (like I did) probably didn't realize the thread had been created.
No worries, the :ranting: customers at her workplace will make sure she remembers.

I like these... and will be buying a couple. They're the same ones CVS had last year, if that helps any. Normally 19.99 at CVS, and your stores should have them out now.
I watched the ones on display at both stores last year, and they worked the whole time. At $14.99 each, that's good enough for me.

I don't think there are any coupons for the 'magic bullet', but I will have to say I highly endorse this product. We love ours, it is one of the few electric kitchen items that is on our kitchen counter full time!

I love my bullet too! It's awesome for frozen drink night. Just mix a new one right in the blender cup!
Heading out to CVS to do all of next week's deals, just in case there is some radical change in coupon policy, I'll have my last hurrah! Still, I'll always go to CVS no matter what!

Me too! I went to 2 stores after walking out of one (with a zero subtotal after the manager put my Contour coupon through for $23--what I had left) and realizing that the Olay Ribbons deal was limit 5 and I only did 1. That stuff is the best ever for shaving! So I went to another store and got the other 8, Musinex, the last Softsoap off the monthly deal, and some ice cream. Up $63 ecb for the night. I figured if a policy change was coming through tomorrow, I'd at least be done till Thu!
Anyone else stupidly excited for the Thankgiving sales?

Ribbons is $4.99. I had some $1 man q's, but not enough for all, but also used both 5/25 beauty and some other $$ off. So really in answer to the question of how much it is...free!

More than likely, you won't be seeing any tear pads with Q's left on them. :(
But keep your eyes peeled for places like grocery stores or lesser known areas. You could get lucky and snag the last 1 or 3 off of a tear pad. The Tylenol tear offs for $2 RR have been around for a good month, month and a half. :dontknow:
If anyone needs any tear off Q's, PM me. I don't grab a bunch, but each time I see them, I do grab 2. I can part with some if you are a nice person. :)

I went this morning and got:
2 - Robitussin
2 - Tylenol vials
2 - St. Ives scrubs 3.89 ea
1 - St. Ives bodywash 3.99
2 - Contrex waters (but was charged for 3, but on the receipt, it looks like she rang one of the contrex coupons twice).
2 - Softlips 2pk (3.99ea)
1 - Hotpocket
Before coupons: 41.68. I used $2 off 10 and $5 off 30 CVS coupons. After coupons: 20.68 - $20 ECB = $0.68.
Received $20 ECB ($1, $5, $4, $4.98, $5). HTH someone :)
FYI, the St. Ives lotions at my store were 4.99, so you'd have to buy more than 2 lotions to reach the $10 for the $5 ECB.

does that 10 off 50 still work..the one that was still working a day or two ago?
Just out of curiosity which 10 off 50 I thought I saw one a little while ago but I can't find it anymore, it's not in the coupon thread. Any help would be appreciated, especially with BF on the horizon.
Thanks,

Does anyone know if the Lumene Skin Supporter Lifting Day Cream counts towards the buy $19.99 in Lumene get $5 deal? If so there is a $2 CVS printable, and the item only costs $2.99 each, so you could use 7 coupons on 7 different products, and get the deal for 6.93 or less if you have a manufacturers coupon to pair with the CVS printable.
Today at CVS,I noticed on an end cap where the marked down items were placed, they had Burts Bees lip balm marked down to .33 cents a tin.I bought 24,great for Xmas gift bags, not to mention I like the product.I was told the regular price was .83 per tin.Combined w/cvs coupons ..works out well.

I am EXTREMELY excited for the thanksgiving deals, as I will be almost done with my christmas shopping after that. the camera and frame are the gifts i can think of right off. heard not so good reviews on the mp3 player, so may pass on it

Maybe its a state thing where certain states got limit 2 and others limit 1, who knows on the rhyme or reason to deals. Remember how southern states got some other deals that the west coast didnt get, so go figure.
Ok so I saw someone post Rite Aid had Rocher for $1.99 and then when I was in the store last night they had the 12 pk for $3.19 and I know I saw that in the paper for $1.99 so anyone know abotu this.
And to the poster with Robo Hotpockets, comtrex looks like a nice deal. A+
Ok anyone have a small list of items that'd be good for Thanksgiving items for the table that CVS sells.

Does anyone know if the Keri ECB is printing for the regular 15oz lotion. My ad says that the ECB is for the "Moisture Therapy" lotion and my store does not carry that. They both look similar (black color) but the one shown in the ad says "Mositurizing" on the bottle.

First time posting here - hopefully I'm on the right thing, but figured I'd share. Went through my CVS today and a Nova was sitting on the back pharmacy shelf, so figuring it was a dead ad, I left it be. I carried on with my purchase, using the Ameal BP to pocket a few bucks on the deal (Thanks for the idea!) - and my receipt still printed out with the Nova Max deal for the week "Quantity needed to earn reward: 1" (or whatever it says). I went back to the pharmacy and snatched up the last one, and sure enough received $20 ECBs. I couldn't remember if it had been discussed if it were in fact a monthly deal that just wasn't being advertised or what. Would that be the case, or did I just get lucky because it is Sunday and the deal just hadn't ended officially?

On another note after brousing my newspaper with Qs I saw this cool way to shop and get rewarded at the same time. There a promotion that Hasbro has for Buying board games.
Now if you can advise how many of these games CVS has that'd be much appreciated. Heres the list:
Battleship ------------- $2
Connect 4 ----------- $2
Guess Who? ------- $2
Jenga -----------------$2
Operation ----------$2
Trouble ------------$2
Twister -------------$2
CLUE------------$3
Monopoly -------------$3
Scattergories --------$3
Scrabble ------------$3
Sorry ------------$3
The Game of Life ----------$3
Heroscape ------------$3
Electronic Catch Phrase --------$3
()()()()() For the most part I've seen all the games with the exception of the last few but I may be wrong.... Just give me a heads up with verifications as I might've just seen the stuff at Toys R us when I was doing the promo and saw it there.
Its a MAIL IN REBATE Exp 12/24/07 and you can get up to $40
LIMIT ONE OFFER PER GAME PER HOUSEHOLD..... Prepaid Visa.....Allow 6-8 wks following receipt submission and of course ORIGINAL receipts.

My daughter will be four next week, she loves Operation! But, her favorites are Memory and UNO.
I asked my fav CVS manager if they were going to be stocking anymore toys, and he said yes. They are getting more in this week! So, what you see now may not be all they have. They just recently put out a ton of toys, but I want more!!! He told me "this isn't Toys R US coupon Lady"

I'm checking out the Dollar Tree today at lunch. Last year they had some small wicker baskets that I used for gifts. I'll let ya'll know what I find.
Someone on the BS thread mentioned Sams or Costco had the clear celephane rolls and she would use a plastic plate as the base and wrap the gifts in the celephane and tie it all together with a ribbon at the top.

I realize this is very YMMV, but for my gift bags I found these really cute totes, and large purses on clearance at Kmart for $2.99, (reg $19.99). I figured they are cheaper than a gift bag, and will be very useful as a beach bag or diaper bag. The best part is, they're really not ugly!

Check post #7703.
The $1 Duracell is that you can buy a 2pk of AA or AAA for $1 (no ECBs).

Has anyone tried the CVS brand diapers? How do they compare to Huggies?
I use them all the time. They are much less stretchy which I actually like because they don't sag as much. They work well with no leaks, etc. They are definitely a "store brand" diaper, though. I find that pretty much all the store brands seem to be about the same.
The wipes, though - now those ROCK for me! I find them to be the thickest around and love them to pieces!!

Thanks and sorry if I'm sounding like an idiot here, but what thread would that post be in? That's what I haven't been able to locate. Someone a few posts back mentioned that the Duracell were $1 a pack and that she used a .50 manu and got a $1 ECB, but even without the ECB not a bad deal.

i used the $5 coupon no beeps and the $1 cvs coupon
Thanks for the info!!
I should of tried it out anways yesterday -- I heard somebody else on SD said earlier this coupon beeped when they tried to use it. :sadwalk:
I guess I just screwed myself out of $5 -- that is what happens when I am forced to leave my home store and enter deathstar CVS territory.
Then again, maybe each CVS is different. :dontknow: -- I know coupons that go through at the deathstar CVS will NOT go through at my store and vice versa.
Yes, this is for manufacturer coupons -- some will beep at one store and won't at another even though the same product (same UPC code) and same coupon are being used.

If you do a search for Target, it is in the main Target thread which has over 500 pages. The link to the software and instructions is on page 517 posted by a guy named shane something with a basketball guy on his avatar. Hope this helps!

I used the $5 Keri Lotion coupon along with the CVS $1 Keri coupon with no beeps. I added the $2.49 Tylenol vial (also used a $1 off tylenol coupon) and with the $2/10 CVS cold/flu flyer my total was a little over $2.00. I came away with $6.49 in ECBs.
I always give the man q coupons 1st followed by any CRTs and finally the $/$$ CVS coupons and have minimal beeps if any....HTH.

Hi Everyone,
Went on my first CVS run of the week this afternoon. Left store #1 because there were no Tylenol vials left. My plan revolved around those. Store #2 was wiped out of them too so I had to recalculate my planned order on the fly.
A few things to note:
- I bought 6 of the Duracell 2-packs ($1 each). Used 4 of the $1.50 mfg. Qs = FREE batteries. No beeps. Don't really need more after the Energizer deal last week, but couldn't resist with Christmas coming. We use tons of batteries on the kids toys. Also got the Glade flameless candles. I plan to include extra batteries with those in gift baskets. Thanks to the original poster who suggested this Q combination.
- I posted in the deal thread about using the $0.50 Qs (found in store around Halloween time) for the NYC nail polish. Makes them $0.49 total for 2 bottles. It pays to collect Qs in store for future use.
- I got a bunch of other stuff, including the BOGO wrapping paper. Spend 25 ECB got back only $9.98 for the 4 Olays. I actually left the store kind of bummed out for having such a low ECB return. Then, talked to myself about all the great stuff I got and spent only $0.87 OOP. It will just be a challenge to get my ECB total back up (like to keep it around $40 and still have about $17 left + the 10 I just got). It's amazing what CVS will do to you. I used to get upset about paying full price and not getting something on sale. Not I get upset for taking a hit on my ECBs.
- Still no Novas. Got rainchecks for 10 last week. I just need to be patient I guess. None of the 5 stores in my area have had them for WEEKS now.
- Someone posted a question about buying enough of the $2.99 Lumene lifting creams - Qs to hit the 19.99 requirement for 5 ECBs. I saw a sign directly under these today showing that they applied to this deal. However, good luck finding enough all at once to do the deal at one time. There are very few available at one time (kind of like the stinks). Would probably require accumulating them over several trips. The $2 mfg. Qs would probably work if pushed through. I'm guessing they will beep like they did for the stinks. Anyone try it yet?

Has anyone tried the CVS brand diapers? How do they compare to Huggies?
I have tried all of the CVS diapers. I don't like the Playskool diapers. They just don't seem to hold the wetness away from the skin very well, and they aren't very stretchy - so they don't fit well. I DO like the CVS Supreme diapers with Caillou on them. I think those are almost as nice as Huggies or Pampers - they fit well, they are trim, they hold the wetness/messes well, and they have some stretch around the waist. I also think the CVS Explorer diapers with Baby Snoopy on them are pretty good, too. They are comparable to Luvs in my opinion - not quite as nice as Huggies or Pampers, but pretty good and better than the generic cheapo diapers at places like Wal-Mart. :) Hope that helps!

I actually am the one who mentioned doing that for the Lumene deal, but it doesn't work. I went tonight, and managed to find a store that had a big stack of coupons for the Lumene, since I couldn't get any to print of without being blury. I also found 5 of the $2.99 creams and 2 of the $2.79 wipes. Sothis is what I had at checkout:
5 lifting serums 5 x 2.99 = $14.95
2 Lumene wipes 2 x 2.79 = $5.58
2 packs of CVS diapers = 2/$12
Durracell = 1.00
Total before tax or coupons = $33.53
I used:
1 5/$30
1 $3/10 CVS brand
7 $2.00 CVS Lumene Coupons. (They did beep but he pushed them through.)
$33.53 - $22.00 = $11.53 - $11 ECB = $.53 OOP
The problem is that I used $11 ECBs and got nothing back because I didn't get credit for the Lumene deal. On my reciept it says total towards Lumene reward is only $5.98. I don't know if the coupons made them not count or what, but I am not messing with it any more. One the other hand if you just want some cheap Lumene products, you can use 7 coupons at once YMMV of course. I totally know what you mean about being down for losing ECBs, I have been kicking myself all night because the Lumene deal didn't work.
As a FYI I was able to get some 2/$10 coupons that were on a little flyer in the pharmacy area tonight. I also found a whole stack of N.Y.C coupons one stack was for Buy one get one on any nail or lip product expires 12/31/07, and the other was for $1 off any product over $1.99 expires 12/01/07. I also was able to get 2 $2.00 off boost coupons on a tearpad by the boost. Hope this helps!

The CVS I found these $2/10 coupons are located in the pharmacy area. There is a free standing display that has all sorts of CVS material (flyers, magazines, pamplets, etc...) and the coupons are stuffed along with those items. I did find a few of these at another CVS and they were stacked at the pharmacy counter. Even tho the coupon is geared for cold & flu medication it can be used for ANY purchase as its stated that way on the coupon. The expiration date is 12/31/07. Its on a long/slim 2 sided sheet. Size is about the dimensions of a checkbook. There are actually 2 different ones. One is like the one pictured below (in powder blue) and the other is in white.
Here is a pic on how they look like

Looks like that getting a $25 gift card from filling a prescription with a coupon will decrease your quarterly spending. I had over $30 from fall spending last week. Today, it is < $1. I did the prescription refill last week. And I hadn't use ecb to buy any gift card or stamp. The only reasoning I could get is I get the $25 gift card free. (I did have to pay $10 on the copay.)

Ok quick note in regards to the Duracell Qs that everyone is talking about ... Heres the breakdown. Theres 4 coupons that are in this past Sundays paper for Duracell .75.$1, $3 and $2 I think ... Will have to check my Q pile but thats a general idea.... Also in a previous weeks inserts there were Qs for Duracell also that will expire I think at the end of the month.
In regards to the 2 off 10 Qs that CVS has provided there are THREE different Qs that are out. I don't recall what they all say for what they're for but theres::
a) powder blue (as already stated)
b) white (as already stated)
c) A darker blue than the powder blue ( you'd almost think they were the same but the thing thats different is the UPC number so check)
They all expire on the 31st of December.
Ya know I m not a fan of doing the Lumene deals unless its a money maker or atleast break evens and with the Qs beeping and its so dang expensive for it and holding out for BF, don't really want to spend anything till then if you know what I mean. Now if they had this promo not so close to BF it might be a different story but oh well....
Will have to make a run to pick up more sanitizing items as I'm giving it all to my son's school. That Clorox deal is AWESOME for having the kids bring to School .....
Forgot to ad that the TRIM BEAUTY tools is a good time to pick up, as I think its a MONTHLY deal so its more bang for your buck so to speak. If you don't get these then the Revlon is for next week. The lil snippers (scissors) are awesome to have. Need to pick up about 5-10 of them. One for purse, bathroom, vanity, vehicle, maybe a few gifts but seems like a snazzy deal.... BTW is TRIM BEAUTY a CVS branded item????? TIA

I can never get anyone to let me scan items first and then take my card, they always ask for my card at the very start. Also I don't think I would be comfortable taking the $40 overage on an already free meter that gives $20 in EBCs, but I am happy it all worked out for you.

I have a hypothetical question for some of you CVS guru's. Say I buy a electric razor from CVS for 89.99 and I get 25 EB back. So the next day i turn around and return the razor, what happens? Do they minus the EB from the 89.99 for the razor? Or do they just give you the whole thing back?
Not sure where you live. However, you might find yourself going to the big house like the guy with the "nice hat" went for trying to buy 10 Nova meters at the same store by getting a new card just for the purpose.
I do believe, the guy with the "nice hat" will be more than happy to find you a good lawyer should that happen.
The guy with the "nice hat" will appear at 5:27 AM EST tomorrow -- so don't miss this opportunity to talk to him.
I am sure companies really like people like you. Again, the guy with the "nice hat" will get you a good lawyer should you decide to do such a thing and you don't get the results you want.
sorry, but who is the guy with the nice hat? what did i miss?
Hey, no fair....you just edited your above post after I posted this question!! (make me look :bonk:
Yes I made you look like a :bonk: --
The guy with the "nice hat" went into a CVS and bought out 10 Nova meters one the same day, he even bragged about it here. He used his card to buy the first 5, then bought the second 5 by getting a new card at the same store. He also became upset when the store manager got  at him for trying to buy some many meters like that, that he threw a meter at the store manager.
The guy with the "nice hat" then went to jail. However, he had a good lawyer and is back out, now he is refusing to show is true face and is showing random pics on SD of Danny DeVito and random people dressed up in Star Wars costumes. He said, that if you want to talk to him to be here at 5:27 EST tomorrow...

I'm going to go on the presumption that I use the 30% off first (like I would a $/$$) and then just use the CRTs, manus, and ECB's like I normally would. Since there aren't any valid $/$$ out there right now except CRT's I think it's kind of a moot point.

quick question.. has anyone gotten the Russel Stover boxes (bogo) free, with the Russel Stover bogo coupons (for bags)? I've been turned down by a total of 4 cashiers already.. I'm wondering if I should even bother..

Sorry, you should not bother because the fine print on the Russel Stover bogo coupons actually says they will only reimburse the store for only up to $1.79 per bag.
So CVS is actually eating $0.20 per coupon even when you use them on the 3 ounce bag (they are priced $1.99 at my store). Of course if you use it on the 3 ounce bag, you are following coupon policy as stated on the coupon itself.
The boxes are a lot more expensive and with the manufacturer only reimbursing $1.79 per bag, will get your store into a lot of trouble.
If I was a cashier -- after I read they would only reimburse $1.79 -- I would also say no to this coupon.

I think we are not looking at the same coupon. The ones I still have expire on 12-31-07. Nowhere on it that I can find any maximum value. In the fine print: RETAILER: We will reimburse you the face value of this coupon plus .08 handling provided. Actually I have been thinking of using them on the bigger bags that they sell for $5.99 each.

It beeped and the cashier looked at it and refused it.
I remember the $3 last time worked without beep so I looked up the receipt - it was used at a different CVS. This proves what Slayer said, even manu Qs do not work out identically at every CVS.
The Russel Stover B1G1 worked on the $1.99 bag and gave $1.99 deduction - but mine did not have a value on the coupon, only the 4.5oz and up size is the restriction. However, it does have only the pictures of bags, no gift box image. I bought 8 gift boxes on one order but did not attempt to use the coupon at all.
One cashier refused to take the Tylenol $1 off coupon on the vial, claiming the vial is trial size and the fine print on the coupon said "except trial size". I thought the shelf tag said this is "Travel Size". In other store the cashier scan it w/o question and it does not beep. The same casher also voided my $2.50 CRT on pain reliever said it has 0.01 negative. She did not offer to adjust it down simply said I could not use it. I did not have a clear head at the time so I let it slide.
Finally, Can you have a negative Subtotal and then a final positive total and just pay the final total without picking up some candybars? The very same cashier wouldn't close the transaction (wouldn't let me swipe the MC) because the subtotal was negative, but a 0.29 positive final total. We had to get the shift supervisor, who asked me to swipe the MC again and the system took it. The system took it without any issue. I remember now last time she wouldn't let me use a $3 ECB to pay the final total of $3.57 said the subtotal is negative if I use $3 ECB. I wound up using a $2 ECB and have a $1.57 final total. I plan to send an email to CVS Customer Service next week to clarify this issue and the CRT issue. All other cashiers dont seem to have such issues.
I even gave this cashier a bag of the Russel earlier as a token gift and yet she played Smart Cookie on me, particularly AFTER the shift supervisor took care of the issue. So I made a point to ask her shift time and would avoid her shift in the future!

I thought I'd just blow off a bit of steam - I received a call today (my day off) from a flustered sister who ended up stopping at a random CVS on her way back to work and found a lone Nova Max but no diabetes books. I told her I'd head up that way later in the evening, and was in a few hours ago - and the lady at the pharmacy refused to ring me up properly. When finding out about the deal originally - I was told that if I had any problems, all I needed to do was to explain that according to Customer Service at 1-800-ShopCVS, the store could overwrite the coupon, blah, blah blah... Apparently, the "head pharmacist" has instructed the staff NOT to do this but to readjust the sales price up to the $59.99 and then apply the coupon. And just my luck - customer service was already closed for holiday. I know I could have just done it and paid $9.99 and still make $10, but I just couldn't force myself to blow a Nova Max deal (I'm not up to packing several cards yet). I was half tempted to just tell her to ring me up without the EC card and just pay $9.99, take it and return it to my local CVS and just buy it back.

I made my very first purchase at CVS today. Of course, I looked for the NovaMax but no luck. There were a couple two days ago but none today. I got:
Tylenol ($2.49)
Excedrin ($3.79)
2 Robitussin ($9.98)
AirWick warmer ($1.14)
AirWick oil ($2.50)
used:
$4 off $20
$1 manu Q (Tylenol)
$2 CVS coupon AND a $2 manu coupon (Excedrin)
two $3 Robitussin printable
manu Q for free warmer when you buy an oil
OOP: $4.91
AND I got $11.28 in ECBs!! I got $5 for the Robitussins, $2.49 for Tylenol, and $3.79 for the Excedrin. Must have been an overage in there because I used $4 worth of Qs for the Excedrin.
What fun! Thanks everyone for your help!

Ok in regards to the negative subtotal and the total showing into the positive some will have an issue and some won't. I left a small load on the register because SS wouldnt let me use my last Man Q for my transaction and then to use another ECB so I said forget it. Note you ever wonder why employees are complaining of shorter hours, its because of the store needing so much a month sold and thats how their budget is planned.. Note I have completely STOPPED going to that yucky store because of that. Maybe when the DM realizes that the sales are down they'll change there tone in regards to the tudes.

So is this the same store that is open 24 hours with the :D manager and the one who still remembers me even though I haven't been in that store for like 5 months now?
Or the one next to Stater Brothers?
Well, I do need to  and :worship: to CVS for salvaging my crappy Thanksgiving. At least now I have some decent gifts for Christmas and that more than make up what happened last night.

Oh no its not that store as the store I'm talking about. 24 hour location is ok for now at least. Stater Bros location is :vomit: :vomit: I tried to be nice but they got something stuck up their Arses... Only when SS from other stores visited them did I go but the regulars at that store are
I'm talking about the one next to the 99 cent store. You would've thought they'd have better CS cuz ya got a 99 cent store next door.
Ok before knowing about cvs deals I looked at it this way ....

For those that even remotely thought about getting in on the Green Dot MasterCard/Visa deal... the service fees will eat up the $15 'use at CVS' deal as the initial fee is $10 and then the monthly fee is $5, so there went your $15!

Ladies check your receipts!!!
I just noticed that if the Gold Emblem Nuts are not scanned next to each other you will not get the B1G1, instead you will be charged for the second can! Also, I see that all of the ones that I purchased, with the exception on the chocolate covered ones, rang up at full price, $4.39 and not the sale price $2.99! I did use the $3 off $10 Gold Emblem Nuts coupon so I'm not sure if this would have caused the sale price ($2.99) to revert back to the original price ($4.39), though the chocolate covered ones scanned on sale with the coupon. I'm debating if I should take my receipt back or not, as I used a *LOT* of coupons (legal stacking) and in the end I got enough ECB's to cover what I paid OOP. On today's receipt I purchased 6 cans and 2 of them were not scanned together so I didn't get a can free, Also, the 2 of the 3 cans I purchased scanned $4.39 and the third can scanned $2.99 (chocolate). Thus, I would be entitled to get back $1.40 + $1.40 for the two cans that scanned $4.39 instead of $2.99 and $4.39 for the 'free' can of the third set which were not scanned together; $7.19 total refund back. Have any of you other ladies experienced this? Especially the part about not getting the B1G1 if the two items are not scanned next to each other.
EDIT: This happened on 2 receipts, so that's $14.38 (minus a little since i was able to use a $2/$10 coupon) I lost out on! If I go back and they see all the coupons, it will most likely turn into a huge hassle, so I'm just going to chalk it up as a lesson learned for next time.

It's definately a pricing error in the system then. The weekly add shows on the front page (middle right side) shows $2.99 with card and the 3-day ad front page (middle right side) shows B1G1 with card and says 'Without Card Prices Starting a $4.39.' I'm about to make another run and the first thing right after my card I want all 6 cans of nuts scanned together. I'll report back with the results.
EDIT: Okay, here's the deal. With the 3-day ad in effect the ~16 oz. cans are $4.38 and B1G1 with the exception of the chocolate covered ones which are $2.99. The ones that are $4.38 and B1G1 are a better deal then $2.99, as $4.39 and B1G1 comes out to $2.195 a can, which is 0.795 cheaper per can. All this having been said, I just might return a $4.39 can off the receipt from earlier today, just to rebuy it so that I can get my additional free can. :)

Some cashiers are really picky about the negative subtotal thing, but many are clueless. Their screen is different from ours, I've had some cashiers who thought a neg. subtotal was actually a neg. total. Once I pointed out that the actual total was still positive they usually feel better. I've had many try to tell me that my man. q's won't work because the subtotal will be neg., but when I ask them to try they usually will. A CVS q or ECB would not work at that point. In CA and in other states, store coupons will pay down the tax associated with them (if I have $1 of taxable items my $1 ECB will be worth $1.08). It can be possible to have an ECB adjusted down, but then you lose the rest.
EDIT: Okay, here's the deal. With the 3-day ad in effect the ~16 oz. cans are $4.38 and B1G1 with the exception of the chocolate covered ones which are $2.99. I think it's only the specific nuts mentioned in the ad that are bogo, there are a lot of kinds that aren't. I got some of the $4.99 pistachios that matched up with the ad and they were bogo (then added in a 3/10 CVS Brand CRT).
Today is my lucky day, but I am so happy about what I did.
I went to buy Ameal tonight, but saw they have a Nova Max. So added it to my order of course. when I check out, the casher entered the Nova Max coupon as a $5 off coupon. I pointed out that the coupon is a $50 coupon, and should be adjusted it to $29.99 not $5. she start to show unhappy face, then she called manager for the manager key to fix the error. when she is down, I realized she put in another $45 discount as a CVS coupon (I do not know how she did it). I then try to tell her that she should not give me full $50 discount. she start to get really really unhappy and start to arguing. I do not feel want to say anything else, so just paid $8 and left. I do not know what I did wrong? I am just pointing out what she did wrong and trying to pay what I should pay. should not she just fix what she did wrong before her manager find out that she give me more discount then she should have give me?

Despite the store has a tag said 2.99 right underneath the Whole cashew, it rang up 4.39. I did not notice it until I looked at the receipt at home.
The honey-roasted and smoke almond are 2.99.
I did not even notice the whole cashew was b1g1 on the Thanksgiving Ad page, so I only picked up 3 random cans, just to use the 2.5/10 CVS brand.

Well this is not good at all. got rid of one coupon nazi and I will be darn if they did not hire another one worse than the other. but get this she said that when those email $$ coupons beep that means that they are fake and were printed from some bogus site not cvs.com. Where do they come up with this crap? my $5/30 email coupon did not beep so I am not sure why she made that statement but she is obviously a coupon hater she scanned my $2/10 cvs brand crt coupon and of course it went through then she says oh i have to take this one back off she says you don't have $10 in cvs items. I told her i do she still says no then she went back looking at the screen and adds the items up and says oh yes you do. What a witch. Arrgg I will avoid her like the plague from now on.

I hate cashiers like that. I got a new cashier at a store that I don't frequent and I expected her to be a "coupon nazi" but she actually accepted 3 printables 40ish order with no questions asked and was very nice to me :)
Oh, and I didn't even bother walking in another CVS today  because I saw that the arshole manager was working up front. Looking back, I should have at least checked to see if they had any Bic Sol. razors, because that was the only free after ECB's that I didn't finish on my mom's card. Oh well.

I noticed this earlier today, too, after my first trip. I found out on the second trip that although the weekly ad says $2.99 each, the 3-day ad says B1G1 (scanned $4.39 for the first can). Although this is confusing as it says 'Without Card Prices Starting at $4.39' in the 3-day ad and you would think that you should get the B1G1 with the first can being $2.99. The only can that rang up $2.99 was the 10.5 oz. chocolate covered ones and it was not included witht he B1G1 3-day ad. I was going to dispute it, but with all the coupons and ECB's I either broke even or came out ahead a couple of dollars. Although I just might take my receipt in and get a refund on the last can, as I did not get it's free partner - I'd rebuy the refunded can to get the free can also.
The whole thing is confusing as the weekly ad and the shelf signs say $2.99, but are scanning $4.39 (B1G1 price). The 3-day add says ''Without Card Prices Starting at $4.39,' thus meaning they should have scanned in less then the $4.39 they did. The wording on the 3-day ad is poorly phrased. It should have read something like ''Without Card Prices Starting at $4.39 EACH.'
EDIT: Okay, after careful review, I have 2 seperate receipts where I should have received an additional free $4.39 can, so that's $8.78. Sigh, between all the mfr., CVS, and ECB coupons, I'm just going to let it be.
