I always used the explorers or the supremes because they have stretchy tabs. I don't think I've ever tried the Ultra.

How many diapers in a case? And what are people's experiences with them?

From my experience I think they are the same as the PlaySkool diapers, they are definitely not 'supreme' or 'ultra' in that their waste band is not very stretchy but they work well. I would not use them for overnight sleeping or when they start to walk.

The good news is that all CVS's are supposed to refund their brand items no questions asked if you do not like them. Even if you do not have a receipt. It may be YMMV but every CVS around me is that way.

The amazon Luvs comes out to 156 diapers. I put in 2 pks of size 1 and 3 pks of size 2 for CVS and came out with 185 diapers, so almost 30 more. Shipped was $27 so saved about 3 bucks there too. But we have had problems in the past with huggies leaking so I am still on the fence if I want to buy a brand I've never used before or not.

I have tried all the CVS diapers. Here's my opinion, and it's just an opinion! :) I have a toddler in size 5 diapers who is just now walking well.
The Playskool diapers are not very good, and I don't plan to buy them again. They are comparable to the cheap generics you get at Wal-Mart - no stretchy tabs, no elastic waistband, etc. We use them strictly during the day, because at night they tend to leak as well, and once I use these up, I won't buy anymore. I also don't care for the Playskool wipes. They sort of stink..!
I have tried the CVS Explorer, and they are pretty good (with Baby Snoopy print on them). I would buy those again, if there was a really good sale on them. They fit better and seem to be more comparable to like Luvs, etc - a step or two above the generics. They are soft on the inside, and have good leg elastic. I haven't had these leak on me.
I have also tried the CVS Supreme, and they are really good (with Caillou on them). They have a much better fit with elastic/stretchiness, they also tend to hold wetness better and away from the skin - I like these the BEST. And while they are not quite as good as Pampers and Huggies, they are pretty darn close. The tabs are wide across the front and have some stretchiness, and they have a less bulky fit. I also like the CVS brand baby wipes - they are actually pretty thick and smell nice. I think their wipes are comparable to the more expensive Huggies/Pampers wipes. Hope the info helps! :)

Personally I hate Luvs, they don't seem to fit well and aren't stretchy! I have to go with Pampers Swaddlers

Mine didn't go through either, never got them to work online
But are their wipes good? For instance, we find Huggies wipes to be way too wet.. we like Pampers or Kirkland (Costco). But we don't have a CVS here, so I am unsure of their wipes..
I have wipes in my cart totalling $25.50 shipped (1,720 wipes total) but am unsure.. :/

I find the wipes to be just right and got many packs before and none dried out, in my opinion at least, the quality is fairly good but not as fancy as the regular brands with the patterns but they do their job and they are just moist and not wet. 1,720 wipes is a lot to get if you have never used them. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions, have a 5 week old and a 2.5 year old so been though a lot of wipes.
Thanks. I have three kids (5, 5 and 3). So I am used to the Pampers or Kirkland and hate to get anything too wet or whatever (DH hates them really). But if they don't meet his expectations, I can just use them for cleaning as well. ;)
I got the Kandoo type wipes for my 5 y/o's as well, good price!!
