I'll take the existentialist approach. The Truth is knowable, but it cannot be objectified. It is approachable, but it cannot be directly communicated. Since we are beings in time we cannot know Truth directly because of its timeless nature, but we can glimpse the shadows it casts.
In the Kierkegaardian sense, we are beings trapped in our own Truth. Beings that are ill suited to communicate our subjective Truths to other subjective beings. This gives the illusion that there is no Truth. Art does the best job of communicating Truth, but it still falls short.

If ALL truth is relative, can our fellow students use this as an excuse to never again have to take a True/False exam?

I believe Truth is knowable, but it must first be revealed.
