CVS Ad/Deals thread for the week of 10/14-10/20 is HERE (http://forums.slickdeals.net/showthread.php?sduid=59052&t=619729)
There are two CVS threads for each weekly ad. So, how do you know what to put where?
- Anything that everyone needs to know should go in the Ad/Deals thread (prices, coupons, what worked that shouldn't have, what didn't work that should have). The Wiki post (always the 2nd post in a thread) is updated constantly by users just like you!
- Ask yourself: "Does someone who is checking this thread via dialup before going to CVS really need to know this information?" If not, put it in the Discussion thread!
- Other stuff like questions, scenarios, what you plan to buy, what you bought, how great the deals are, how bad the deals are, chat where you're getting to know other SD CVS'ers etc, should all go in the discussion thread for each week.
Keeping track of all the CVS threads:
Subscribe to the threads you want to keep track of. (See links below)
To subscribe to a thread when you're already in the thread:
- go to the top of the page
- click on Thread Tools on the upper right hand side
- click Subscribe to this thread
To see the threads you've subscribed to, click "User CP". It's at the top of every page on the left. Any of your subscribed threads that have new posts will show in the center of the page. You can also click “View all subscribed threads” to see all threads, whether they have new posts or not.
(You can also 'sticky' every CVS thread to the top (also under Thread Tools), so if you go into Hot Deals or Deal Talk or Coupons you see all CVS threads at the top of the page.)
NEW: Too many pages in your CVS threads?
You can change your settings to show more posts per page, with the maximum being 40 posts per page. (This lets you scroll down more without having to keep hitting 'next page')
Go to “User CP”
Click on “Edit Options”
Scroll down until you see "Use this option to set the number of posts to show in a thread before splitting the display into multiple pages."
You'll see a drop down box where you can select the Number of Posts to Show Per Page.
If you make a change be sure to scroll down to the bottom and click on “Save Changes”

Saw in the deals Wiki that there are $2 Caress and $4 Gillette coupons out there. I'm interested in trading for those if anyone has extras. I can offer up all 3 of the 2/10 any purchase coupons that were in the pharmacy at CVS. Thanks!

Well, that stinks..!! All the CVS SD'ers must have hit it over the past few days, LOL.
i printed out those coupons months ago. they'll get used finally...
with the upcoming b1b1 arm and hammer detergent...
5.49 * 4 = ~22 - 4off 20 - 5.49 b1g1 - 5.49 b1g1 - $1 a/h coupon -$1 a/h coupon = $5...
even without the $1 coupons, that is $7 + tax for 4 detergents...
works even better if you are lucky enough to have a 10 off 50 and can stack w/ 1 a 4 off 20... did that last time with the purex b1g1 around labor day...
10 * 5.49 = 50.49 - 10off50 - 4off20 - (5 * 5.49 b1g1) = ~$9+tax for 10 detergents... even better if you have some manu.coups or they let you stack extra 4off20s
the manager didn't say a word. it's a newish store and i think they just like the foot traffic. even the occasional SDer...
the other day i did see one guy that must have broken his order down into about 15 parts... the cashier was exhausted when the guy was done...made my dealings that day look amateurish (and they most certainly were not). :)

Found some Jergens coupons at CVS today. They are inside a small little foldover brochure that is on the front of a Jergens display in the lotion section. They're for $1.00 each, which isn't much, but might help if you really need to do this deal and have no other coupons..!

Plus, I put this in coupons but might need the info here. Lots of goodies from sunday paper I got this morning. (P&G)1.00 off CG lip or eye, combine that with the BOGO coupon. You know about the crest bogo toothpaste and 1.50 off the wash. Bogo gillette sensor. 2.00 off fusion.(SS)1.00 curel, .75 jergens (val) 1.00 & 2.00 nivea. I think those always come along about halfway through the quarter, so we still have awhile to go. But there should be another one.

I can't wait either. After holiday shopping is one of my favorite things. I guess I get great deals often now but store closing and after holiday clearance will always hold a special place in my heart for getting fun stuff for very very little $ (and in this case, just a little bit of ECBs). :woot2:

I'm looking forward to Transformers coming out on DVD on Tuesday, that's going to be my big purchase for this week! :bounce: I've rarely seen new movies in my store so I asked the cashier tonight if he knew if they'd be getting it in. He didn't know but said they hardly get anything, and pointed to their display of new movies. It consisted of 4 different titles, was a tiny, hang-on-side display. I asked the manager and he said he thought they would because it's in the ad ($19.99), but said they usually only get 2 of the new movies. So he's going to set one aside for me. That is so nice of him, I'm happy I'll be able to get it there and use ECBs on it instead of paying real money for it elsewhere! :woot: We rarely buy movies but DH insists on getting this one, we saw it in the theater and loved it.

If anyone needs some, there were rebate forms at my local grocery store (Family Fare) for Arm and Hammer. I picked up a few extras. Pm if you need em.
Buy One Arm and Hammer product, get one free after rebate (up to $5). Would go good with some of the recent deals.
I feel stupid now, I just went to count the rebate forms I had and realized they were already expired when I grabbed them from the store. (Exp. 10/10/07). Stupid Store. Sorry to everyone, but I am sending something else to each of you that asked me instead.

Quick question.
The Arizona tea is $0.99 Buy One Get One Free.
So in theory, 21 cans would cost $20.79, but after the B1G1, it would be just over $10...
If you purchased just these 21 cans (or 22 cans) with no other fillers, could you use the $4/$20 coupon? Or would you have to buy $10 worth of filler?

In the wiki for this week's deals thread, someone posted that the 4 packs are generating ECB's. Can anyone confirm this? I'm trying to go through that thread to see if someone posted that deal. TIA!
Charmin 9 pack bathroom tissue 5.99 w/ card (DO NOT GET RIPPED OFF by this -- The 4 pack is generating $1 ECB and is priced $2.99 to $3.14 -- making the 4 pack a better deal -- Limit of 5 on the 4 pack per card)
- Charmin, any .25 (11-30-07) (P&G, 10-14)

It depends on when the cashier hits the total button. If they hit it as soon as all the items are scanned your total will be the lower one, otherwise yes, you could use the 4/20. You could always try asking the cashier not to hit the total button until after they take the coupon. :)

Th lack of $$ q's it making this week far less stressful for me. There's at least on cashier in each store that will let me stack, but it's a crapshoot. this week, i don't have to worry about who's at the counter! Plus, all my other q's are 100% legit except for the leftover $5 Nivea ones that i'm going to use at my fave store that will take anything that scans. But my fave store is also the farthest away. I can go to the TWO that I pass going to/from school this week that I usually don't go to. :whee:

welcome, eris!
I cheated on CVS tonight. There's a 5/25 pet stuff at Target found here. (http://forums.slickdeals.net/showthread.php?sduid=218471&t=628696) So I cleared out the last of those Meow Mix q's you wonderful people sent me, used some of the printable Purina ones, and some Sheba coupons. I got a few little extra things for the $5 and pretty much just paid the tax. And, the cashier at one Target told me that they take expired coupons for two months after the date. I guess I'll be back to that one a lot.
Then, I went to CVS to attempt to recycle a few ECBs. (last week's deals) I got some dish soap, more pledge dusters, a clearance swiffer refill (marked 25% off but scanned at $1.25), playtex sport, and 4 CVS mailing tape. Total was close to $40. I used 4/20, 2/10 flu, 2/10 CVS, 3/10 CVS and the man. coupons. The only bad thing is that she mixed up my order for the playtex and pledge coupons and scanned the playtex on first and of course the pledge one decided to beep this time and didn't want to be adjusted. It just figured - bf used 2 and a $3 one for a $1.75 glade candle and none beeped.
It still worked out decently after she adjusted it and took off the candy I through in to keep from going neg. So I paid 50 cents. I used $2 more in ECBs than I got back but since my P&G one finally printed I guess it was profitable.
The cashier was so sweet. I apologized for the confusion with the pledge coupons and she said not to be sorry for using coupons  and that it was her job. I guess I better go write a compliment.

Technically no. If you have the same CRTs on your card I think the ones from another card can go through, but I don't think there's much of an advantage to that.

These are actually Olay coupons issued by CVS, not CRTs. They were taped to the Olay shelf a few weeks ago. I hade never seen them before, but nevertheless there they were. They must be part of the beauty consultant's stash.

CoverGirl is limit 5 again, not limit 1. However it seems to be glitchy! My one card did not reset. I reached the limit the other week, and now, the limit is still there, so I'm 25$ short on ECBs. Bummer. I guess that card really does want to retire... I'll be left with just one, but I can always get a new one when the good deals come rolling back! So, after many many CG deals (I had a trillion of those BOGO CG lip stuff, and I have no other coupons besides the 4/20 and the 2/10 and 3/10, so.. Just the CG deal for me. 2 lip products - 2 - 3 - 1 item = .48 or .68 in taxes, depending on the combination I did), I have 25 ECBs after spending a total of 6 dollars (I really did have to use those coupons today.. I'm sending a box home!)
So... enjoy the CG all!

If you purchased just these 21 cans (or 22 cans) with no other fillers, could you use the $4/$20 coupon? Or would you have to buy $10 worth of filler?
Only if your card is not scanned until after the $4/$20 coupon is scanned. I was so excited the other day (when I got my first < $1 OOP order) that I truly forgot to give her my card until the end ( I had it in my pile of qs). Sooo.... it may be worth a shot but I would have my fillers nearby. If you have other coupons for free items that would be great to throw in to bring your total up to $20 but still technically take the $4 off your tea. HTH

Technically no. If you have the same CRTs on your card I think the ones from another card can go through, but I don't think there's much of an advantage to that.
Now that we have 9 digit codes on the crts or I am wondering if one can use crts from other people. Most likely the 4 digits after the first 5 would be different with different cards.

HTH
How were you able to use a 4/20 before your card was scanned?
I didn't think that worked. I've never been able to.
It is the total button that makes the BOGO stuff come off. I assume the card is needed to get the BOGO deal but just having it scanned won't automatically make the BOGO prices come off, it just automatically makes the regular sale prices come off. :)
Now that we have 9 digit codes on the crts or I am wondering if one can use crts from other people. Most likely the 4 digits after the first 5 would be different with different cards.
I don't know. It's pretty rare that someone does that as anything other than an accident so if no one knows already it could be awhile until we find out.

How did you figure out it's limit 5? And is that just a glitch that might be fixed eventually? b/c my ad definitely says limit 1....
I did the CG deal, and it didn't max out until I hit 75$. because it's 5 for every 15 purchased.. math math..limit 5 :)
This is such a bonus for me since I really did just want to use up the CG coupons I had. And, ad says limit 1 (am in OH too), but... just like the other week, ad said 1, but we were able to do 5 :)

Wish I could help you on this one. In my first purchase, I got the 3.99 thingy (not sure if it's lipslicks? The lip balm type thing they have?) and the 9.99 thing, got the 9.99 for free with the BOGO coupon (it DID say ANY, not that it has to be of a lesser value). HOWEVER, this was on the card that didn't reset the CG deal, so... I don't know if it would have counted. Meh. :(

Although I am not an expert I would say it depends. I went to CVS ysterday and bought the BOGO vitamins and tons of other stuff. I gave the cashier my card in the beginning and my total $54.00 before I gave her my coupons. So I am panicking in my head asking myself did I get the correct vitamins becasue I know my math couldn't be that off
She deducted the $4 off $20, all my manf coupons ($2 off each viatmin) and them my ECBs, then she hit total and my grand total was $10. Sooo long story short, the BOGO didn't come off until after she entered in all my coupons when she hit total.

I've had that happen before. Last time, my total was about $43 before I scanned my card, and I used 2 $4/20. The first $4/20 went through fine without my card. The second one wouldn't go through so she asked me for my CVS card and then it went through fine.

the only way that i found a way to save some money is with crts. if you have no crts for eucerin (most likely you'll have to buy it before getting crts) is to use those coupons and wait for the buy $15 worth get $5 ecb. it's how i started and try to collect eucerin coupons so i can match it up with any lucky crts i get from cvs.

I GOT a $10/$50 CRT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :dance13: :dance13: My ONLY CRT in four transactions this morning....but what a great one! Of course, I got it in one of my first two (at the first CVS) and then used it at the second one :)
I had a great few trips--bought a Mounds bar for a cashier at my local CVS, so I think I've made a friend for life.  Yay! I did spend about $5 OOP total in the four transactions....not the greatest b/c I felt rushed and didn't calculate all the Qs and then do the ECBs before the manu. Qs. Oh well....still came out up about $5 in ECB on the day and got some stuff I can really use (except the tons of CG lip....I hope some of the colors I got will work for my mom or SIL....).

Sometimes they won't tell you if they want you. Most companies tell you they want you and that's it. I went on a lot of interviews and none of them wanted me. The good thing was that I had a recruiter who told me what was going on. The job finding process is just soo much work. I'd keep interviewing. Don't hold your breathe on anything. Just remember to keep your head high and know what you're strengths are. Sorry for the depressing talk.

O.k., in my sick little mind that enjoys a challenge, I'm having fun with just using the smaller coupon amounts. I did 3 deals today, and will complete my week with 3 more. I'm just waiting till tomorrow to see what the CVS coupon gods have chosen to bestow upon me. I've broken up all of my deals into $21-$25 chunks, and each one comes out to about $.50. The only deal I used more for was the monitor deal, for which I used a $10 ecb, but the intent of that deal was just to roll some over. Ah, the challenge is half the fun!
no one helped me with my deal.. :sadwalk:
:sleepy2: i just woke up from my nap

Nah, wait until tomorrow and get your new CRTs. Maybe you'll get something you can use! I was so ticked last week when I got 2 CRTs I could have used on deals.

I think you should wait until Saturday to see if more $x/$xx will come out -- This is the week to do your monthly deals (as next week's deals are already up and look pretty good).
All I can say is your order is probably too large with the lack of $x/$xx we have.
Unless of course you have lots of ECB's expiring before Saturday. If you shop on Saturday -- you allow your ECB's to pick up an extra promotional period (5 periods instead of 4) as the coupons expire the Tuesday of the 5th promotional period.
So using this, shopping on Thursday is the worst day -- because your ECB's will expire on Saturday 4 weeks from that Thursday -- and not allowing you to use them for a 5th promotional period -- should weeks like this one come up.
I don't know if that helps out all that much for you. :dontknow: But, If you check my signature from post #97 I'm sure you'll have plenty of help next week. :)
Miracles do happen sometimes, don't they? :)
WOW! Welcome back KMA
I was always a slickdeals reader but never really ventured out in the stores to do the hard core slickdealing until KMA's CVS posts. It's because of her, I need a bigger bathroom and hallway closet.... thanks!

Slayers must be in heaven! Glad your friend is well and back to doing an INCREDIBLE job for us.
Went to 3 CVS's instead of 5 as planned. Only got one deal worth bragging about - oop was $.38! :woot: :dance13: and the worst was really bad - $20 and some change :( I had such a bad headache from all the moron drivers out on such a pretty day I just didn't care at that point. I have a ton of Tylenol like everybody else but didn't have any with me! I always have tylenol but forgot to fill up my little bottle in my regular ugly purse I carry all the time
I did what I knew I would do if I got another card - yep - I mixed up the ECB's! Wasn't surprised just embarrassed! I'm gonna have to get another big ugly purse for my new card and ecb's and use my current big ugly purse for my old card and ecb's. All those tips ya'll gave me were great - i'm just goofy! Saw the comfy robes today in black and red. They do look comfy! $19.99 so it will have to wait until we're blessed with $/$$ :worship: 5 times a day. every day :)
Forgot to mention not one CRT on either card - new or old. Planning another SMALL order for Wednesday unless we get the $/$$ then it will probably be a large order :)

the Good nights are ~$10 and there's a $2 off in today's paper, then $3 ecb's back. I've never used them, but it looks like they are shorts instead of briefs. I don't know if your small one is big enough for them though.
Hi everyone!
Thanks for the PMs and posts. :) About my absence....
My computer died several months ago. It literally smelled like something burning. Turns out the power supply (I think that's what it's called), as well as the motherboard, was fried. It would cost so much to repair, so I ended up ordering a new one. I was using a couple of borrowed computers from my dad and the best I could do with them was email. Between the time I lost my computer, until the time I got a new one, probably 3 weeks had passed. Bored out of my mind I decided to find things to occupy my time.
I started walking a couple of miles twice a day; now I go to the gym twice a day and it has really helped my back. I sorta let my stockpile room get messy and my coupons were unclipped for so long that many had expired. It was hard getting motivated to get back into it. I kept telling 2knotheads that I was going to be back, but I didn't think it would take this long. I've finally gotten to where I think I can balance it all - shopping and my working out. Today I filed almost all my new coupons in my binder and tomorrow I will clean up my stockpile room which was starting to look like a junk room (when I'd clean other rooms I'd throw everything in there!). I hope to do some shopping this week, if I can get it together; otherwise I will start with the 10/21 ad.
I'm planning to go to San Francisco for two weeks to a month. I'll be leaving the second week in November. So, I will be disappearing again soon. Hopefully I will be able to post some early ads before I leave. I will check for the ad for the 28th in a couple of days. I no longer have the coupon database, nor do I have the time to create a new one, so I will rely on everyone's input.

I just found a news article mentioning how you can make profit at drugstores.
The article even mentions the word "STACKING" :shocking:
Also says, if you go :ranting: clipping coupons to pick CVS -- :whee:
However, do not follow the advice of this article too much and :worship: the person doing this. If you do SD himself will be :ranting:. This is because the best advice is found here right on SD.
Keep in mind the article just explains 1 item -- doesn't go into all of the issues and time required to become successful doing it.
Disclaimer: Offer not valid at most deathstar CVS, Walgreens, or Rite-Aid
Click HERE (http://www.orlandosentinel.com/business/orl-ymdrugstores1407oct14,0,573941.story) for the article.
I think this was the woman who was actually on Good Morning America last week. She also reported that its not just stay at home moms that cut coupons like most people think. She reported that more people in their early 20s are using coupons. I found it interesting
I agree about the article being useless. If your average joe read that he would be no wiser for the effort. It’s that time again!

 Welcome back! (you probably don't remember me but I was around a little bit before you had to leave)
There's no reason to feel like you have to do tons of work again, so don't worry about the coupon stuff. If you get time to type up the ads then that's great but you don't owe us anything. Take care of you and then do whatever else you feel like, even if you decided to just stay here and chat it's not like anyone would complain.
mrsblack - if you think of anything else to buy you could split the order up. Maybe buy the Crest later when you want to go back for something else to help you use another 4/20 (assuming you don't have an expiring ECB you need to use). That's all I know that could help at all.
IMO the article was dull and pointless. If I didn't know anything more about the deals I wouldn't bother caring based on that. I used to flip through the CVS ads and assume ECBs weren't worth my time. I'm pretty sure that if I still felt that way that article wouldn't change my mind. But everyone's different so it will probably encourage some people. Regardless, I like couponmom.com for grocery deals.

When I went yesterday, I went by the gift wrap/card aisle and I saw the most ADORABLE gift box ever. I *had* to get it and I took a picture of it: http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff61/afusinatto1/c04b93fe.jpg
Isn't that soooooooooo sweet???
So cute...but my CVS doesn't sell Hallmark since American Greetings' headquarters is in Cleveland.
:nono2: Of course now that I can't get one I WANT ONE! I WANT ONE OF EACH! I want a golden egg, NOW, daddy! (Willy Wonka reference)
Had a good couple of trips today. Got my Conair styler and used my $48 ecb. Broke up a $24 ecb too!
I love that shift supervisor I mentioned yesterday. I specifically ask her to check me out now b/c she has "the power" and she does everything she can to make all of my coupons work and she is faster than lighting with entering coupon codes! I just have to hope that this new manager is as great as the other one, otherwise, I'll be traveling to his store!
I just looked at my inbox and it's been one month and one day since CVS has emailed us the $$ off coupons (the good ones, not the $2 off ones).
And speaking of long time, no see:
Welcome back KMA!

Regardless, I like couponmom.com for grocery deals.
i thought the article was silly too... and i didn't think it explained it very well... just "use your ecb and the crest will be free" doesn't explain about combine w/ mfc or roll the ecbs or anything... guess that would be too much for an article though

Well folks I'm off to shave my legs with my free razors and shave gel compliments of CVS. this will probably be the last shave for the winter, as I'm morally opposed to shaving in the winter. We have hair on our bodies for a reason. It gets COLD here (especially with the wind blowing around the buildings on campus) and every little bit of insulation helps.
Just thought I'd share.

Ughhh I seriuosly cannot come up with any good deals this week!
Only thoughts are Beano and the bogo Crest Q's to make some EB's for next week and I need PullUps.
PullUps 8.99
4 Beano 11.96 (for the rebate offer +$8.00)
2 Crest 6.58
-$2.00 Huggies
-$4.00 Beano
-$3.29 Crest
-$4.00 4/20
-$2.00 2/10
total 12.24 and I have enuff EB's to cover it.
18.54 in EB's back and $8.00 on the rebate...
Any tips to help make this a better deal?
Nope -- this week is lousy. :( -- So by doing the monthly deals this week -- you are making the best deal possible. This week is so bad that even the sale items are making me pay more (the 11 cents savings on the CVS water messed up my plans and I ended up having to pay more due to having to buy more because it forced my subtotal negative).
The only thing is the $2.99 for the 4 pack of Charmin generating $1 ECB -- but that is a monthly deal also and limit 5.
 -- Thank you for taking everyone's input for the coupons. -- I think you have shown everyone why it is important to work out and exercise. This is something I am going to have to find time to do myself.
Everyone needs a break to recharge. -- I think with the upcoming Christmas season -- I know I am back ready to go -- I was starting to get burned out in mid September with all of the lousy deals and nothing but beauty items.
San Francisco in November is a good time to go -- most of the time it is actually warmer then than during the summer. -- Thing is there are no CVS in the Bay Area at all!. :(
Again thanks to you -- everyone here has become better looking for coupons and knowing what inserts they came from! -- I know I learned an awful lot from you. :)
I'm on CVS strike until they come out with some new CVS coupons!!
You do realize CVS is listening to you rachcresp? They have come to the dark side like your avatar says -- why do you think everyone who scans their card at the computer scanner gets a $1 off a regular package of Absolute Divine Cookies every single day? :rolleye2:
If you go strike -- CVS will be :ranting: -- then we are doomed to getting $1 off a regular package of Absolute Divine Cookies coupons for the rest of our lives.

the Good nights are ~$10 and there's a $2 off in today's paper, then $3 ecb's back. I've never used them, but it looks like they are shorts instead of briefs. I don't know if your small one is big enough for them though.
lucky duck! Goodnights here are $11.89 (Just bought a pack today). Unless your store is well stocked you may want to make a backup plan excluding the Beano. I've been trying to find it around here since day 1! :sadwalk:

I just looked at my inbox and it's been one month and one day since CVS has emailed us the $$ off coupons (the good ones, not the $2 off ones).
That's no fun. :sadwalk: I hate the thought that I'm going to have to start using a lot more ECBs than I'll get back. But I need to accept the fact that I don't have to have so many anyway. I was getting close to acknowledging that before the gum deal. That really spoiled me.
I had a great cvs run and took mirandas advice and paid with ecbs first. my math skills aren't so great but my total came out to TA DA!!!!
.22 cents!!! :applause:
it's not just my advice - I only started doing it that way because I read about it on here
22 cents is great! :worship:

This is probably sharing too much....in college my roommate and I had a little leg hair growing competition. It started at the end of winter break and lasted several months. I don't have that bf any more but he wasn't exactly a keeper anyway and he did stay through the whole competition for some reason. She won, but not by much. We ended it by trying waxing for the first time.
If I lived somewhere cold I'd probably give up shaving my legs for awhile too. I don't do well with cold. Plus it's so annoying to shave then immediately feel like you didn't once that first burst of cold air hits. :cold:

I think this was the woman who was actually on Good Morning America last week. She also reported that its not just stay at home moms that cut coupons like most people think. She reported that more people in their early 20s are using coupons. I found it interesting

well after rereading it i guess i am the SAHM..duh! but i didn't even notice that i am a 20 yr old! its so hard to really fit myself in that demographic anymore even though i'm only 22. so many people drop their jaw when they realize or remember our ages. my realtor was even telling us that we are doing GREAT for our age since i am always comparing us to everyone else in our playgroup...i.e. college degrees, former careers, homes, savings, etc and i always feel like poo compared to them.

Hi to everyone, this is my first post on this discussion board. Yeah, I've been lurking for quite some time. And thanks to you all I have gotten some great deals, and have saved a lot of money. Well I just wanted to let you know the Clarititin D 24 hr. 30 ct. that is $19.99 in this weeks ad is giving out a $5 ecb. I found out when I went to get some allergy pills for hubby today and saw the price tag on it, and the dates for this week. This stuff is expensive and getting some money back on it, is not such a bad deal.
If I posted this on the wrong board, can someone please move it for me, Thanks!

I still don't shave unless I'm going to the beach or it's a special occasion :) why make him expect something I don't intend to continue??? Good for the rest of you folks saving those razors!!!

PerlaAzul,
Thank you for this information. That really isn't a bad deal at all. Can you do us a favor and see at the bottom of your receipt if it says how the promotion is worded and if it says "Offer Limit Reached" yet? If you have bought 1 and it says "Offer Limit Reached" then the limit is 1 -- otherwise the limit could be as high as 5.
This could be another hidden monthly deal.
Or does your ad say you do get $5 back? Remember, Texas and Florida often get better deals than the rest of the nation.

The only way I know is to go into recycle bins and see what coupon inserts people have thrown out. You could also go to stores that sell the Sunday Newspaper and see if they have any in stock still that you could buy.
If anybody else has a better idea let me know also... I always wonder if stores do keep the Sunday Newspaper, or are they required to turn them back in to the newspaper company including the coupon inserts...

Any self serve newspaper boxes around? Or 24hr convenience stores? Those are my go to places on Sunday nights. :)
If you can get to a store early Monday morning, you might be able to find a few copies leftover.
I raid the newspaper box at the end of my street late Sunday night. The delivery driver comes by around 11pm and switches the key from $1.75 back to the weekly rate of 50˘. I can get three papers for less than the price of one. :woot: If I need more papers, I cruise down the main street that I live off and raid those boxes too. :greedy:

In my weekly ad it doesn't say that the claritin gives back ecb, it just says its on sale for $19.99. But the little price tag on the shelf is where I read it. And sure enough it gave me back a $5 ecb. I asked the manager (cause he's the one who was doing cashier duty at the time) why it wasn't listed in the ad as giving out a ecb and he said maybe there just wan't enough time to put it in the ad.
And my receipt says: Claritin PEB, Buy 1 Get 5 EB

I am sick of hearing all about Texas and Florida. They have the 2 best college and club frisbee teams in our region, which means they are always representing the south at Nationals, and never do well. Now I'm hearing about them in my cyber world too! Louisiana gets those deals as well, thank ya very much!

Hey, thanks for the info! I use 1 of these each day due to my HORRIBLE sinus/head congestion and allergies. That's an AWESOME price for a 30 pack, not to mention the $5 ECB and there's always $3 or $4 off manu Q and you can use a $4/20! I think I will be going there tomorrow for these!
Going off topic, I got into a huge fight with my sister today about coupons and the topic of "cheapness." Do any of your family members think you are cheap for using coupons or CVSing? I don't consider myself cheap at all- just smart and frugal! For instance, yes, I do use tons of coupons and shop sales, but why is that a bad thing? It doesn't take over my life (I usually go to CVS once a week, 2 times at most. And ralphs once or twice a week), and I buy things that I need and get it most of the time for free or ridiculously cheap.
Of the stuff I do get, I usually give away half of it to sister, parents, bf, his family, etc. My sister says I am "extremely cheap" and "not normal" because I use coupons!!!! I told her that I don't think it's normal for her to send $200 on groceries for ONE person a week!!! I don't think it's normal for her to buy whatever she wants just because she wants it at that moment. I have everything I could possibly want material-wise. Even though I am frugal and save my money, I still splurge and have nice designer purses, go to the spa, etc, so I don't think I'm weird and not buying what I want. And I'm not poor or anything, I am very financially well off, but to me it's not even about money, it's about saving and conserving what you have.
She doesn't call me cheap when I give her all these shampoos, face washes, cereal bars, etc that I get, but she tells other people how cheap and abnormal I am for using coupons! My parents and bf defended me, and said I am just frugal and smart. I don't thin
