Thanks OP, Just booked a rental w/ Enterprise for my weekend trip to Niagara Falls via Buffalo. I tried the coupon for 50% off the weekend rate, but it wouldn't work. I was able to use the Free upgrade coupon though.

Anyone know of any more Enterprise coupons? Doesn't have to be Enterprise, but they do seem to have the best rates around here. I'm looking for coupons for the period 2/7/08 through 12/7/08. I have the 2008 Entertainment Book but find that all of the Enterprise coupons expire at the end on 6/30/08. I find that surprising. Since it's a 2008 book, I figured that the coupons would be good until the end of the year. Anyone know if the 2009 books are available yet, and if they have car rental coupons that are valid from July 2008 onward?

If anyone wants Hertz, Alamo, Avis, National or Enterpise coupons good through the end of June (realize that's only a few days away) PM me. Some of them say "valid through 6/30/08" and some say "rental must begin by 6/30/08." Coupon code to be entered when res is made and coupon itself must be presented at time of pickup.

I have to rent from Denver Airport tomorrow evening til Sat evening so being at under two days, I don't have many options. I took advantage of the following code:
Up to 15% off your next daily rental and up to 10% off your next weekly rental, use code 76CU006. Valid for rental ending on or before 7/30/08. This code is for credit union employees and members. Hopefully they won't ask me to prove my credit union affiliation. Here's my total:
2 day rental of a Economy

Enterprise and National are both at around $35 a day around their normal price (final price is $90ish). So with this discount, I save like $10ish.

I do think I need a rental car for my 5 day trip to Vegas (from Sat 7/19 11am til around Wed 7/23 6pm). There's a thread here to go with Hertz to get a free tank of gas, an extra day, and almost enough points at signup for another rental:

I just went ahead and signed up for the Hertz gold membership because I think it takes a few days to kick. But the airport rates seem pretty rough so let me see if this does work out better than Enterprise.

Also, as I was finalizing my Enterprise reservation, I also came across this on the site:
THERE WILL BE AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE OF $4.00 PER DAY FOR EACH ADDITIONAL AUTHORIZED DRIVER OTHER THAN A SPOUSE OR DOMESTIC PARTNER.I always thought it was extra for another person but good to know it'd be free to add my wife on. Only problem is that she hasn't updated her license yet (after over a year of marriage) so maybe I couldn't take advantage of this.

I checked the rates before entering any coupons, kept the window open, and then checked rates through link for discounts mentioned on various website. Also tried entering coupon codes for class upgrade etc. All these costs way more than booking without any coupon and going directly on enterprise.com!!!
